Chapter 11

23 ~~EXT. NEW YORK STREET~~ 23

Y/n is still following Peter.

They are down a street.

Suddenly, Peter goes into an alleyway.

Y/n goes into the alleyway a few seconds later.

Peter has taken off his normal clothes and is in his Spider-Man outfit, except for his mask.

He doesn't see y/n.

Y/N
Peter, what are you doing?

PETER
Y/n?

He walks up to y/n.

PETER
You followed me?

Y/N
Yeah. I wanted to make sure you were okay. You seemed...tense.

PETER
I'm sorry, y/n. I just...seeing MJ say yes to a marriage proposal, sort of messed with me.

Y/n suddenly appears deflated.

She begins staring at the ground.

PETER
So, I ran out of there. And tried to run away from my problems. I figured going for a swing would clear my head.

Y/n nods her head.

Y/N
Well, I won't keep you from doing so. Goodbye and have a nice night, Peter.

Y/n turns around and begins walking away.

PETER
Y/n.

Y/n stops walking and turns around.

Y/N
Yes?

PETER
I'm sorry that you had to leave the party for me. I guess I ruined your night.

Y/N
Oh, no. Not at all. I'd say the closest thing that could've ruined my night was that whole escapade with Harry.

PETER
Yeah, that really sucked.

Y/n nods her head.

PETER
Actually, the only good thing that happened tonight was talking with you.

Y/n blushes and smiles.

Y/N
You mean you didn't like getting slapped by Harry? I figured that that would be on your list of things to accomplish.

Peter laughs and so does y/n.

Y/N
Well, I appreciate what you said, Parker. It was nice talking with you too.

Peter doesn't respond, he just smiles at y/n.

Y/N
I guess I better let you go and do your thing. I'm glad you're okay. Have a nice night, Peter.

PETER
Thanks. You too.

Y/n nods her head and turns around.

She starts walking away as Peter watches her go.

She leaves the alleyway and goes around the corner.

Peter then puts on his Spider-Man mask.
