(A/N: Hey, another chapter out. I just want to say I'm glad that 1k people viewed this fanfic, and I honestly appreciated the support you guys made. I'll be real with you though. The reason I took a while in making this fanfic is that I've been doing another project. Yes, as if the three fanfics I had were already a handle (technically two since I've paused in updating Within The Multiverse). I won't say much since you lot want to read my fanfic, so here you go. Enjoy.)

A few hours passed as the group began traveling back to the village. Upon hearing the mention of the place, Welyn and Tear wanted to join with the others. After some deliberation, and with Brian's help, the group agreed to bring the two along with them.

Not much is said between the group other than small talk and a few jabs at one another. But it almost felt home for everyone as they chatted amongst each other.

"-And the next thing he said is, "That is a big nut." Like, he was so impressed by the size of it," Brian laughs.

"Of co'rse I was! I mean, de guy was literally using a hoodie to cover his entire nut!" Nogla said.

The group starts laughing at Nogla as his face contorted into annoyance.

"Whatever! At least we're close to the village, so I don't fockin' care!"

"Speaking of, I am so ready to hit the hay," Welyn said.

"Same," Tear huffed as the others voiced their agreement.

Vanoss had a big smile on his face but quickly vanished when a thought came into mind.

'Shit, I don't know where that bandit girl went. I hope she's safe,' he thought. 'Who am I kidding. She fled the moment I let my eyes off her. She's probably fine.'

His train of thought immediately halts as a nauseous odor causes the group to gag.

"What the *cough* fuck is that smell?" Brian chokes out.

As the group gets closer to where the foul smell occurred, Vanoss immediately recognizes where it is.

"It's coming from the village!" he said.

"Oh, what fockin' now?!" Nogla yells out.

"Did the bandits attacked again?" Brock questioned.

"I don't know," Vanoss shrugged. "But I sure hope they didn't kill anyone."

As the group slowly approaches the village, they find blood splattering some of the trees, with bullet holes piercing through them. Unlike last time, however, the spilled blood and bullet holes were fresh.

"The fuck happened here?" Brian mutters.

They continue to approach down the area with caution, weapons locked and loaded. More and more signs of battle began showing, leaving trails of blood and what looked like the remains of some animal.

"Is that a carcass?" Welyn asked.

"Whatever it is, it's completely and utterly fucked from what I could see," Tear said.

Minutes passed as more and more bodies began showing. Some were from the previous battle involving bandits. This time, carcasses of an animal resembling wolves litter the whole forest side, and it wouldn't take long for the group to see the rest of the carnage that's awaiting in the field.

The field was left particularly the same, with most of the bandit corpses all piled up in one area. But this time, more bodies filled the rest of the already bloodied field. Carcasses of wildlife strewn all over, and two people were picking up one of the corpses and adding them to a separate pile.
