Short and bittersweet. A great read for the pool or beach, even better for when you are alone and can grab your favorite relaxing beverage. This is not a book for the thin-skinned, while it's not mature it is an emotional read.
The plot is rock solid. The timeline is perfect. Grammar and spelling are good. These characters are heart-wrenching, tear-jerking, and anger-inducing. LOVE Gale.
If you're looking for a quick and easy read, look some more. This is not your read. If you're looking for a strong female, here she is.
