t is the first draft. So yes it has problems. But the plot is solid and the storyline is OK. The characters are the driver of this tale, they are wonderful.
It is so soft and simple, a great tale to read on break you don't have to worry about a complex plot or multiple subplots. It is grand in its simplicity and wonder. It is short and sweet and much appreciated for those reasons.
It is the first in the series: "The Protector" followed by "Beyond Midnight" are complete with more in the works. They too are short and simple.
If you are in need of a tale that doesn't require your full mental attention to enjoy this is the series for you.
