Wei Wei's name was trending at the top on Weibo, many haters who were attacking her before have now become quite. Wei Wei didn't win on her forth category but she didn't mind, she was satisfied with the ones she won and honestly didn't even want to think about best actress awards.
This award is also same as actress of the so she was not that ambitious, she knew her limits. The awards went on and soon it was down to final two grand awards best actor and best actress awards.
"Best Actor of The Year award goes to.....Wei Lazhan Journey to The North"
He went on stage and accept the award, he was a well known veteran in the industry and have acted in many top movies and dramas. After accepting his award he went back to seat down
"Best Actress of The Year award goes to.....Wei Lexy Glorious Empress"
Though Wei Wei was just a new comer everyone knew her drama Glorious Empress, it was the most watched drama this year and it placed her name on the map so people couldn't dinie her the right to win this award. She walked on stage and accept the award and gave a mini speech
"Uh...uuhhm...though I might have many ambitions this one was never on the basket list, to make the matter more interesting Glorious Empress was my first drama. I would like to thank the director for giving me a chance along with the crew, staff members and QiQ my agency for taking care of me, also I would also like to thank my Mortals your Goddess made it now you can go and brag about it on internet. Lastly I would like to thank the most important person in my life, myself. For being talented, beautiful, lovable and being able to achieve this in a short span of time, thank you everyone"
It is a well known fact that Wei Wei loves and appreciate herself the most in the entertainment industry so some people were not surprised by her words but there were some who didn't know her and were beyond shocked by her words. When she went to sit down she didn't feel right, she felt the urge to leave city X right away after the awards. After the ceremony there was a dinner party which she didn't want to attend but she had to, she planned to sneak away later on so she asked Xianxian to get the car ready.
She didn't touch any single food nor drink infront of her, she was busy playing game on her phone when someone called her name and she cussed inside since she didn't want to socialize.
"Wei Wei", she was shocked by the turn of events when she turned around

"It's been long time, you don't even come home to see mom and dad"
"Well I've been busy that I haven't had time to visit City X in general", she responded with her elegant smile
"Oh, anyway congratulations on your awards", she could feel disdain in her voice
"Well same to you", she didn't want to waste her time on them
She excused herself and went to the bathroom, she stood there playing game for a while and then went back to the venue. People approached her with all kinds of intentions but she just smiled elegantly
"Miss Wei", when turned she found someone looking at her

"Mr Luo would like to have a word with you", the man emphasised his name
"And may I ask what business this Mr Luo have with me?", the man was taken back by her arrogance
"Follow me and you will find out", he responded frowning
"Well now I'm busy", she said showing him the screen of her phone and she was playing game
"But if it's important I'm sure Mr Luo knows where to find me, I will be sitting here attending my business", he was getting frustrated by her attitude and he wondered if she have a death wish
"Mr Luo does not follow commoners instructions if....", he was interrupted before he could finish his words
"But he does like hanging with commoners, hypocrites", she rolled her eyes
When the man heard her words his face ashen
"Miss if know what's good for you, you better follow me or you can kiss goodbye to your career", the man threatened and Wei Wei let out an elegant smile
"You see I was about to change my mind and go to meet him but I don't like being threatened so I changed my mind, if he was a man you claim him to be i feel like he wouldn't be so petty to send his secretary to covert a lady for him.
See I know I'm beautiful and it's understandable that he may fall for me but I don't like weak men who hide behind their minions, you see in this world a person can have power, wealth and everything else but there will still be that one thing he can't touch.
It can be a sun or a star but for your Mr Luo it's me, servants reflects their masters behaviour and from what i can see from you it's not good. Anyway you can go and tell him that i refused to meet him, as for my career tell him to do whatever he want if he have the power to do so. Now if you can excuse me, I have important matters to attend", she said focusing back on her phone
