By the time Error had arrived back, Dust was finally resting. Nightmare was seated on a chair beside the sofa, his tentacle being held by Dust. Error would have mentioned the cute appeal, if matters weren't so tense. The Star Sans' were behind him, two of the three glancing to Dust before Nightmare raised a finger. He silenced them before slipping free and guiding. Ink wanted to speak as well, but figured it was best to not disturb anyone.

Once in the kitchen, Dream and Blue nearly panicked when Nightmare attacked Ink. The violent actions left Ink against the countertop, the tile cracking and falling to the floor. That singular socket wore such a tremendously venomous gaze that even silenced Ink. If not for Dream's interference, Error was sure Nightmare would have torn the protector limb from limb. But Nightmare's brother eased him off, leaving Ink on the ground with shock apparent.

"Breath brother, please. Violence won't get us anywhere. I'm assuming this is about Classic, no?" The twin nodded, sitting down as Error joined him. Dream frowned, Blue speaking up. He was no doubt worried about the violence, but Nightmare wasn't one to hit someone undeserved. Blue was simply following orders given by Ink.

"Why does it matter what we did? Classic was the original, meaning he was supposed to be untampered. Dust broke the rules, Nightmare."

"I am aware. I will scold later, but we need to fix things. This either goes peacefully or violent, so you choose." Ink frowned, but was cut off from speaking. "As for you Ink, do not speak. It is taking all my control not to hurt you. For this meeting, Dream leads."

"I understand brother. Might I inquire what made this meeting mandatory?" Nightmare sighed, rubbing his face.

"Dust is on a mental breakdown. On the verge of tearing himself apart over this. You can't simply force the two away from the other when they've become dependent on the other."

"That would imply there was consent. We had it believed there may be control over Classic..." Error scoffed, shaking his head.

"Only a few can control others and it never lasts forever. Classic and Dust, while it started out with ill intent, they came to cherish the other. You three practically offered Dust heartbreak on a platter. To make things worse, you locked Classic in an Au where he suffered Genocides constantly. He was already strained and you threw him back into the hell."

"I understand that, but if he's used to it, shouldn't it be the same as before?" Dream's complete cluelessness made Nightmare groan, his head hitting the counter.

"No, it wont. Classic has not only killed, but murdered a Papyrus. Even if it wasn't his own, that stays. He knows the feeling and thus can ignore the pain until it's too late. At this rate, he'll fall into the same line as Dust's Au. It would be trouble. The Original breaks coding, the whole system gets the backlash." Ink sat their quietly, finally feeling a need to speak. It was given a glare and snarl, but he spoke anyhow.

"Just as you have issues on your side, we had problems to. As the original, he can't remain away from the Au. Think about it. Blue goes back to his Au because he has to. He is required in that space. Your entire group basically doesn't have a place to return to, minus Horror, who even pays trips. Classic hadn't returned once in far too long and the system was beginning to draw issues with that. I went there myself one day and it was hectic. The coding was beginning to break down. Returning him was the only way." Error widened his sockets.

"What do you mean? What would have happened?"

"If Classic was not returned, a virus of sorts would eat the code. It would destroy the original world and even with Classic no long involved, it would spread to him. He'd die." Ink sighed, leaning on the counter after standing. "That was why Classic was forbidden. He links us all. If he'd died, so would every Au. Me and Error included. There would be nothing. His world begins to crumble and the code gets ruined, it would spread like wildfire to other Aus."

"I get that point, but we can't keep them separated. They both will tear everything down around them." Ink nodded, tapping his fingers.

"I know, but we need to find an alternative." Dream remained silent for a moment before speaking out, his sockets widening.

"Why not do what Blue does? He pays visits to assure the code remains, but can move beyond that." Ink seemed the most hesitant.

"I'm not sure. I don't enjoy knowing Classic is connected to our enemy Dream. Him being on their side puts a target on his back." For once, Dream showed his irritation.

"Stop thinking about power struggles and think of the solution to this issue. Classic chose them, so suck it up. We can't change that, got it?" The room fell silent, even Blue speechless. It made Nightmare speak up. They had to come to an agreement.

"I would agree to those terms. Is there anything else to add to the deal?" Dream paused before nodding, his smile rising.

"I'd like to no longer see my brother as an enemy. We don't have to fight, you know." Nightmare sighed, but partially smiled.

"We'll talk more about that later. For now, our main issue is Classic. Get us to Undertale before something happens." Ink groaned, but listened. He unsealed the area, allowing Error to enter it. Once the portal was set, the group left together, unaware of the other body that followed beyond their gaze.
