Lyla's POV
"What're you gonna be for Halloween this year?" Mike asks me
"I'm gonna be the devil." Tana says with a smirk
"A hot devil." I say with a wink
"And I'm gonna be an angel." I tell him
"Uh, a sexy ass angel." Tana says
"How bout you?" I ask
"Tina and I are gonna be Woody and Jessie from Toy Story." Mike tells me before I see Mr. Schue walk into the choir room
"Great news guys! I've had a little inspiration. This week's musical lesson isn't really a lesson. It's a musical." Mr. Schue says
"Please be Evita. Please be Evita. Please be Evita." Rachel whispers as she looks up at the ceiling
"Rocky Horror!" Mr. Schue announces causing everyone to break into chatter
"I've never seen it." Finn says
"Mr. Schue?" Rachel asks
"Yeah?" Mr. Schue asks
"While I admire your choice of a groundbreaking 70's musical, aren't you worried that the adult themes might be a point of controversy?" Rachel asks
"Seriously, a school in Texas couldn't even do Rent. It caused an outrage and they had to cancel the show." Kurt says
"Isn't that the whole point of the arts? Pushing boundaries? Doing things people say you can't do for the sake of self-expression?" Mr. Schue asks
"Look, I figured it all out. I cut out some of the more risqué sections and I'm sending home permission slips to all your parents to make sure they're okay with it." Mr. Schue says before he hands out the permission slips and the scripts
"And we're going to charge admission and use the proceeds to help pay for transportation to nations in New York!" Mr. Schue tells us causing us all to gasp before murmurs of agreement fill the room
"Okay, let's talk about casting." Mr. Schue says
"Oh! Finn and I will play Brad and Janet." Rachel says before Mr. Schue walks over to the piano and writes their names down
"And I'll be playing the guy in the wheelchair, right?" Artie asks
"That's what I was thinking. And, I thought Kurt could play the role of Frank-n-furter." Mr. Schue says
"No. There is no way I'm playing a transvestite in high heels and fishnets and wearing lipstick!" Kurt tells him
"Why, cause that look was last season?" Santana asks from beside me with a smirk causing Kurt to glare at her
"I'll do it!" Mike says
"Really? It's like the male lead." Tina tells him
"I know but I'm feeling a little more confident about my singing voice after our duets project." Mike says causing a proud smile to form on my face
