Lyla's POV
"Beep beep!" Mike calls out as he walks down the school hallway with me on his back
I let out a soft giggle before I see Burt and My mom with Kurt and Finn
"There she is." Burt says as Mike comes to a stop beside them
"I'll see you in Glee." I say as I slide off of Mike's back
"Hi, Mike." My mom says with a warm smile
"Hi, Mrs. Hudson." Mike greets her
"I'll see ya in Glee." He says before pecking my cheek and hurrying off
"What's going on?" Finn asks
"Is this one of those interventions, cause--" Finn starts
"If it is, it's for all three of us. They bombarded me and forced me to bring them to you both." Kurt says
"Okay, okay, come on, tell 'em." Burt says excitedly
"No, no, no, you." My mom says
"No. We said in the car." Burt says
"Come on, you. Tell them. Please!" My moms says
"Alright, so you know how I drive Carole to work every Tuesday?" Burt asks causing Finn and me to nod our heads
"Well, today I drove here, and we snuck into that classroom where Kurt introduced us-- very romantic of me, I might add-- and I--" Burt starts
"He proposed! He proposed!" My mom says excitedly causing a huge smile to form on my face
"You stole the punch line!" Burt says before he kisses my mom
"Wow. This just happened?" Finn asks Kurt
"Oh, dad!" Kurt says as my mom shows Kurt and me her ring
"Oh!" I say
"We wanted the three of you to be the first to know." My mom says
"Yeah, after the kids in that homeroom. Come on, family hug, huh? Come on." Burt says before he pulls us all in for a group hug
"I'm so excited and-- and nervous!" My mom says as Burt releases us all
"Oh, don't be, don't be. Oh, my god, this is just what I needed. I will take care of it from here. I have a trunk full of wedding magazines hidden under my bed. I'm thinking of a russet and cognac theme. Those are colors, Finn. Fall wedding colors. Autumnal." Kurt says
"Nothing too extravagant, Kurt, okay? We're gonna use whatever savings we have. We are spending it on the honeymoon. That's right. We're going to Waikiki. We're gonna go to the hotel where they put up the guest stars on Lost." Burt says
"Finn, you-you haven't said anything." My mom says
"Uh, I'm...I guess I'm just kinda stunned." Finn says
