Lyla's POV
"What's poppin'?" I ask as I walk into the choir room
"Prom's about to be." Santana says as I sit down beside Sam
"I'm thinking we watch a movie with Stevie and Stacey on prom night. Sound like a plan?" I ask
"Are you sure you don't mind spending prom night with Stacey, Stevie, and me?" He asks
"I'm positive, Sam-I-Am. I wouldn't wanna be anywhere else." I tell him
"You're pretty great, ya know that?" He ask before I peck his cheek
"You're pretty great, too." I say
"Alright, guys – prom." Mr. Schue says after writing 'PROM' on the whiteboard
"Please tell me we're not doing songs about prom." Sam says
"Nope – we are the prom. Figgins has asked us to perform." Mr. Schue tells us
"Let's do Run Joey Run." Rachel says
"How bout Trouty Mouth?" I whisper to Sam before he glares at me
"Don't tease me." He says before he cracks a smile
"Now, I know this isn't ideal with Nationals coming up, but we really don't have a choice. And, we could really use the money. But I know that prom is a special right of passage. I want to make sure that all of you guys get a chance to enjoy the dance, too. So we're gonna stagger the performances so that each and every one of you has a lot of time to dance with your dates." Mr. Schue says
"Excuse me." Mercedes says before she walks out of the choir room
"Is she okay?" Mr. Schue asks
"Mercedes doesn't have a date for prom." Quinn tells him
"So? I don't have a date. I'm just going to dance. And then all of your dates are gonna ignore you and come dance with me, so...your dates are really my dates." Brit says
"I'm gonna go talk to Mercedes." Kurt says
"No, let me." Rachel says
