Pandora's Box

Chapter 7

(BTS POV)

Jungkook and his bandmates stood rigid

"Before it's too late?  What do you mean by that?!" Maria huffed lightly at their obliviousness.

"Have you not noticed the weather outside? 7 hours ago it was a clear day,  not a cloud in sight. Now it's thundering and pouring like crazy." All seven members looked out the window and realized she was right.

"How?! The forecast said it'd be sunny the whole week!" Hoseok stuttered out in shock. Maria shook her head, knowing exactly why.

"This is Pandora. The weather reacts to her strong emotions. She's in emotional pain right now,  and I believe you are the only ones to snap her out of it." Maria explained as she grabbed her coat. "Come on, let's go."

"Where are we going?" Namjoon asked her.

"Jamsu bridge. It's where I first met Pandora.  I remember seeing her there in and out of the water for about a year before I actually talked to her. That's where she'll be."

Pandora swam to the only place she knew she could keep solace. The Jamsu bridge held so many fond memories for her,  and it was where she wanted to be. As she reached the center she found it 2 ft underwater. Enough for her to sit comfortably without anyone bothering her. Or so she thought.

"Pandora!" 8 voices called out her name and she stilled. 7 of those voices were her soulmates.

What were they doing out here, and on the bridge no less!

"Pandora!"

"STOP!" Pandora cried out,  the water rising higher. Yoongi heard her voice first and looked around frantically for his soulmate.

"Where are you?!" He yelled out.

"Please, don't come any further,  you'll drown!" Namjoon couldn't hear her clearly over the high winds, and as his usually clumsiness,  tripped over the bridge. "NO!" Pandora felt her heart pounding as she jumped into the river after him. The splash of her tail caught the others attention.

"Uh,  Maria was that Pandora?  Because I seriously hope to god it wasn't a shark."

"Sharks don't come this far inland Kookie."

"But..."

"DIDN'T I TELL YOU TO GET OFF THE DAMN BRIDGE?!"

Namjoon felt the water pressure rise as he was pulled under the strong current. A flash of white streaked across his low vision and soft hands grabbed him. Sweet lips molded into his, and suddenly he could breathe. His vision sharpened and he blushed. In front of him Pandora held him firmly to her body,  her kiss causing a chain reaction that helped him to breathe. Once she had been satisfied he was OK, her grip tightened and swam with him to the surface. Namjoon curiously ran his hands down her side, and he marveled at the touch of her scales. A minute later she burst through the water and landed on two feet on the submerging bridge.

"DIDN'T I TELL YOU TO GET OFF THE DAMN BRIDGE?!" Pandora had released Namjoon and stood with her hands on her hips.

"Pandora-"

"Get off the bridge. Then we talk." Jin pulled off his wet shirt and wrapped it around his naked soulmate before picking her up in his arms.

"As long as you stay with us...  we'll do anything."
