" I know the truth"

I sat for a second trying to figure out If he was talking about what I think he was

"I'm srry, what?" I say Kinda playfully way trying to act like I had no idea what he was talking about

"You may not have noticed it but I always understood you , I paid attention to you when no one else did , I understood how being left out feels Nash did it to me, an still does , by I just want to let you know that I will always be there for you no matter what and I would die before I let them hurt you again, srry I let them before, I'm so srry Madison" he says his voice about to crack

"How did you know" I say in barely a whisper ,afraid that my voice might crack from the tears threatening to spill

"Like I said I paid attention to you , your eyes were very familiar but I shook it off by your laugh gave it away , your laugh always lit up the room no matter where you were." he. Says confidently "can I be your friend plz Madi...i mean hanalee ,I don't like knowing you hate me I always looked up to you like a big sister and I have always looked up to you and I don't like seeing you mad or hurt and i would love to have you back in my life as a big sister bc I miss you so much" he says at this point tearing up , I was I. Complete tears and I was almost positive that my mascara was running down my face

"You never did anything wrong Hayes ,and I could never be mad at you , I love having you as a little brother" I say through my tears , his face instantly lights up and he comes over to hug me and I meet him halfway to give it to him, he test his chin on my head reminding of short I am, I am only 5'1and Hayes is 5'11He wipes the tears off of my face and fixes my mascara "Don't worry I won't tell" he says
just as we pull apart we hear the backdoor open and lots Of laughing , Hayes smiles at me before making his way to the couch and sitting down taking a deep breath trying to stop making his eyes tear up...
"Hey , valentine" Connor says sitting next to me kissing my cheek and I climb to sit in his lap he smiles really big at my actions making me laugh, I look up at Hayes who is having a conversation with Matt, he doesn't look like he was crying just a few seconds ago , man he's good ., Mathew looks up at of the boys and smirks

" My girlfriend Is coming tomorrow " Mathew says with a big grin, I don't know much about this girl but I guess the boys don't like her bc when he say this everyone from MG just rolls their eyes and sighs in aggravation

"Yay" they all say sarcastically ,Mathew shot them an evil glare before going back to his phone , after talking for awhile with all the boys ,which consisted Of me just on my phone siting by Connor talking to him and every now an then to Hayes
I guess I started dozing off and I heard Connor say

" Hey guys ,I'm gonna bring Hanalee to bed " I feel him grip onto me then stand up and start walking upstairs ,he sets me in my bed and starts to walk away

"Wait , Connor will you stay plz"

" Of course " he says slipping of his shirt and getting a pair of sweatpants off of my drawers that he has clothes in ,he slipped of his shorts and slipped on the sweatpants he laid down and after I changed into a pair of sleeping shorts and a sweater and laid down in bed next to Connor who was just in sweatpants and no shirt , you might think it's weird but honestly it's not ,me and Connor are best friends and it doesn't bother us ,

" I love you , hanalee"

" I love you , Connor"

And then I slowly fell asleep preparing myself for tomorrow
