Ok so recently I know that this book has been all over the place ,so this explaining everything that has led up to taylor leaving hanalee's hospital room in chapter 52 so let's start ...

Madison is Mathew Espinosa's secret twin sister , they are really close as children but after awhile they start drifting apart , she doesn't like the Magcon boys because she thinks that they stole Mathew from her because when he started hanging out with them , he stopped hanging out with her , the boys find out that Mathew has a twin sister and at first Madison is upset but quickly realizes that they are not as bad as she thought they were , she develops a tight bond with jack gilinsky , only to find out that Nash and Cameron like her , she is scared she will ruin there friendship by picking between them so she avoids the two boys altogether , they go to a carnival and Cameron finds someone new and forgets about Madison , while gilinsky
Goes with a fan and Nash is paired with Madison , after spending the whole day with Nash she decides he is a good guy, only to find him kissing the girl gilinsky had brought after lying about going to the bathroom , she finds gilinsky and he is not with the girl anymore because Nash took her from him , Madison gets upset and runs from gilinsky , she hides behind a small tent and gets ran into by a guy (Adam) she met at a grocery store she thought was cute , he convinces her to come out of the tent and find gilinsky , when she finds him Adam leaves and jack and Madison are told its time go home , when they get home hanalee takes a shower and she sings while in the shower and the boys hear her because Taylor was dared to. take her clothes , they find out she is a very good singer, she mentions that she invited Adam over and Mathew tries to convince her out of it for nash but fails , when Adam gets there , nash tries to make Madison jealous by inviting a very slutty girl named rose , after Adam leaves , gilinsky and Madison were just joking around and nash got the wrong idea and said some hurtful things to Madison. Mathew was in a corner making out with rose instead of helping. Madison , Taylor notices and brings Madison upstairs and stays with her ,gilinsky gets a little jealous and goes to see Madison but Mathew makes him take rose home , but he really just dumped her at a bus station , Madison thinks that her best friend , gilinsky ,picked rose over her so she gets upset and runs away to California , Taylor tries to stop her but is too late and all the boys thinks she committed suicide ,once in California she gets a complete makeover and name change to hanalee and buys an apartment that just happens to be by the very famous o2l , after becoming friends with them they decide to let her in o2l , nine months pass and the boys still think Madison is dead , she thinks the boys just didn't like her enough to come after her , she has lots of fans on the o2l fandom, she befriends Connor franta and Brent Rivera and they quickly become best friends , no one knows about Madison's past expect the o2l boys and Brent , Madison always found Some way to get out of town when the magcon boys would visit o2l but they boys decide take suprise the o2l crew and show up early to the house ,Madison opens the door and is surprised by the Magcon boys but they don't recognize her so she tries to play it off as the new member of o2l , Connor agrees to help Madison show the boys she not just a toy, all the boys go to make a video together but Hayes stays behind , he admits to Madison that he knows who she really is , at first Maddison tried to play it off as she doesn't know what he's talking about ,but then Madison is startled and scared , but he agrees not to tell anybody, all the boys come back in the room and Hayes and Maddison act like nothing ever happened ,
Mathew then mentions he is inviting his girlfriend over for a little while and all the boys are against he idea but agree anyway , the girlfriend turns out to be rose and immediately when she he's there she is very rude towards Madison , the guys call rose out and stuff and Mathew gets upset , and Madison starts crying , Brent shows up and takes Madison to her room. TO keep her away from them and then Hayes comes up and apologize and says that he should have told her that the girlfriend was rose , Madison says she understands and forgives him ,they go to the go downstairs , they all hear gilinsky yelling at Mathew about how he need to get the "slut" rose out of the house bc she ruined Madison life and he won't let her ruin hanalee's too, Madison realizes gilinsky still cares for her and that Mathew made gilinsky to rose home , later that night Maddison and all the boys watch a movie and Madison hints to gilinsky who she really is and he figures it out and they talk all night , when gilinsky asks Madison why she left she tells him that se thought that he left her and didn't not like her and he leaves saying he needs to go , Madison gets upset and thinks she pushed him away again , gilinsky leaves her alone and tries to avoid her because he thinks that he is hurting Madison by Staying around and he doesn't want that , the next morning Madison makes breakfast and her and Brent flirts with her but she thinks he a just being nice so she brushes it off , Madison doesn't know rose stayed the night so she doesn't make breakfast for her, but when rose comes downstairs and sees she doesn't have a plate she takes Madison's , Madison asks her why she took it and rose tells Madison to go starve herself because she's too fat to eat anyway , Madison used to get bullied really bad about her weight even though she was never fat ,roses comment makes Madison upset so she leaves and goes to her room , Brent goes to find her and talk to her and she won't let him touch her because she thinks she's too fat, he tried to convince her she is not fat but she doesn't believe him and he gets aggravated and leaves her by herself , then she gets upset because she thinks she thinks she pushed gilinsky and Brent away , the next day she goes to the mall and notices someone she thinks looks familiar but she brushes it off before soon realizing it is her old friend Adam , she runs up to him and hugs him an he thinks it's just another fan because he is now a famous actor , his friends that are with him though recognize her as hanalee from o2l and he quickly realizes it Madison and ask her what happens he thought she died. They all go over to get lunch and she explains everything to Adam , he asks her why she hasn't told taylor and Madison panics and realizes that Taylor probably thinks she is dead and blames himself , she takes Adam and the boys to the o2l house and let's them meet everybody while she talk to taylor is relieve and really happy she is ok and stayes with Madison for the night, gilinsky gets jealous and develops as disliking towards Taylor, and no longer want taylor around, he tells taylor that he is hurting Madison by being around and that he needs to leave , taylor doesn't not want to hurt Madison so he leaves without telling her , she thinks it her fault he left , she thinks that her bringing. Up the past caused Taylor to leave and jack never tell her the truth so she gets depressed and tries to jump off of a bridge but someone catches her and brings her home and she finds out this is Cameron ,and he has known about her all along ,Cameron has liked her this whole time but did not want to say anything because he thought she had to much going on for a relationship , but shortly after that they realize they would be better off best friends because they don't quite feel the relationship kind of bond there , there is only the brother sister kind of bond , gilinsky tries to go back into Madison life , but Cameron will not let him because he does not want him hurting Madison , rose calls Madison a slut after nash asked her who she like and she does not answer , Madison gets angry and drags rose out by her hair and pushes her outside the house, Madison goes to her room ,Mathew gets upset because it reminds him of Madison ,(btw he still thinks Madison is dead) gilinsky starts screaming at Mathew about how he has no right to just now start caring about her and then Cameron buts in and tell gilinsky he is just as bad and had no room to talk , all the other boys realize that they are talking about Maddison in present Form and they are forced to admit she is not dead , the claim that they have no idea where she is they just know he is alive so all the boys go to bed but gilinsky and Hayes , hayes explains to gilinsky about how he should feel terrible because Mathew cries himself to sleep every night because he regrets what he did to Madison and wishes he had her back , the next day Madison finds out the boys know she is alive they just don't know that she is who she is , Aaron figures it out because Madison feels bad and hints it until he figures it out ,
Later that night Cameron took it upon himself to find taylor and tell him the truth about what really happened about how Madison misses him and gilinsky lied and just wanted him gone , taylor goes to the house and gilinsky and Taylor start fighting and Madison gets upset because this is exactly what happened before she left last time , she thinks she is ruining relationships , se cuts herself but it cuts too deep and causes her to bleed out. While this is going on the boys are still down stairs fighting and bye now everyone knows that's hanalee is really Madison , the boys hear a loud bang and go upstairs to find Madison on the floor almost dead , Taylor freaks out and tells the paramedics to come get her and they take her too the hospital , when she finally gets better hey bring her home but she is distant , one day while Madison is In her room she feels her legs go out and she can't move she screams for jack and he takes her to the hospital , when she wakes up she can't remember anything , Mathew explains to the boys that she has an infection in her blood and the infection is attacking her brain causing her not to remember anything , the doctor says not to tell he anything that will upset her ,gilinsky tells Madison that they are best friends , taylor also tells her that they are good friends , Taylor is also upset that Madison called for jack instead of him ,when Madison asks about her past , taylor won't tell her and she get angry , taylor calms her down and tells her that he will tell her all about it when he sees her again , but he doesn't know when that will be
