"You caught the satellite yet?" I whisper through gritted teeth, trying to ignore the sound of my heart pumping in my ears.

I hear the tapping of a keyboard through my earpiece, "Almost there,"

Another look at the 9 meter away concrete makes my head feel heavier and my hands grip the bricked wall behind me tighter. I grit my teeth further if possible, there's no turning back now.

Come on, Mira, this person played a huge role in murdering your parents, would you really waste a chance at getting back at him? My face hardens at that thought.

No.

Then again, there's the fact that this school wasn't even properly guarded, which I find odd, since this is the place Armin thinks is the best to keep such covert information –the contents of the USB my parents assembled.

When I asked Armin why would a person like Theron Arnolds keep the articles, deals, and footages that prove he aids the mafia, he weaved the theory that this piece of information is a double sided weapon.

In other words, Armin thinks that this man, Theron, kept these as a proof to the Mafia that he aided them –for blackmail purposes, as I've gathered.

"Got it!" Armin yells.

I look one more time at the ground before squeezing my eyes shut, "Enlighten me,"

"Uh, okay," more tapping onto the keyboard, "You climb the window at your right-"

"What if there's someone-"

"-There's no one in there. Why do you think I demanded I gain access to the whole building's camera before I let you in?"

He continues tapping onto the keyboard, "Once you're in, you'll be in the Guidance Counselor's office. The principal's office is directly opposite to it,"

"Got it,"

Once my feet touch the floor of the office, I do not dare move my feet, "It's super dark in here,"

"Do not attempt to use a flashlight," he warns.

My eyes strain to lead me through an object-free path, worried I might trip over something. My hands are outstretched, reaching over the air to prevent any possible collisions with my body.

Once my hand touches a concrete surface, I stop, running my hand across the whole surface until my hand comes in contact with the cold metal of the doorknob.

I pause, "Cost is clear?"

Armin hums in response.

I slowly open the door, slip out and towards the opposite door. I'm not sure what was going through Armin's mind when he thought the door to the principal's office would be unlocked.

"It's locked, Armin," I hiss through the earpiece.

"I know, dear," he says distractedly, incessantly tapping onto his keyboard.

I sigh heavily, "How-"

"-a moment please,"

Not a second later, something beeps from behind the door, and the door clicks open.

"Voila," Armin says smugly.

Almost scared to enter, I hesitate by the door, "Is there anyone in there?"

He chuckles, "No, dear. I've scanned the whole building and the principal's office is the only place with a coded door and yes the principal's door has a code, which I've skillfully decoded,"
