i turned back human and used spider adaptations to silently take the robber out. the venom i used once i bit him wasn't poisonous. it only had the properties of a benzodiazepine, a fancy word for sleeping meds but intensified for an instant reaction. basically, he wont die, i just made him pass out.
i flew over to the back left corner and did the same to that robber. i then waited on the ceiling for one of the other guys to notice.
the guy in the front left came back to see what the issue was. once he was right under me, i web his gun and pulled while at the same time webbing his mouth before jumping down and biting him.
then the 2 guys at the door. i got right above them, webbed their guns while propelling myself forward, kicking them in the face and knocking them out. i tied them all up with my webs and used claws to untie the hostages.
the hostages ran out of the building and i trailed behind, dragging the robbers by one of my webs.
"mimic! i told you to-" "mirko, i know you told me to wait somewhere else, but i was scared someone would get hurt. i only wanted to help. i did it successfully too. no one got hurt- well maybe except these guys" i said.
her expression softened before it got extremely happy again. "you did that all by yourself!? wow! i'm proud!" she cheered. everyone outside broke into applaud.
i chuckled. "wowie! that's awesome! a whole five robbers!? and this is only your internship!" mirko said.
i posed for some picture for the press, as told to by mirko. it was fun though.
"alright, let's go meet up with hawks for dinner! im starving!" mirko said happily.
we met with hawks and tokoyami at a kfc. once we approached and i saw tokoyami, my eyes lit up and i ran toward him.
i pulled from the hugs with tokoyami and looked at hawks. you did a half salute. "hiya, im the animal-like hero: mimic. pleasure to meet you, mr. hawks" i said cheerfully.
"oh just hawks will do" he replied. mirko chuckled. she pulled me into a hug from behind and squeezed me. "isn't she just adorable" mirko said. "she is a cutie, that's for sure" hawks winked at me.
i sputtered from the compliments. "oh come on hawks, don't scare her" tokoyami said pulling me to him. "sorry if i scared ya, baby bird" he said. i grew a pair of cat ears and a tail as butterflies surrounded me.

tokoyami suddenly laughed. "you okay" he asked. i gave him a confused look before noticing the butterflies. i tried frantically to wave them away, but they wouldn't leave
i was embarrassed as hell. "let's just get some food" i said. we went into the kfc and our waitress came over.
"hi im antonella and i'll be your server today" she said.

then the waitress came back and as she was passing out the drinks, she literally felt along hawks' arm.

hawks sighed and turned toward me. he grabbed my chin pulled me forward and kissed me. (dont you dare comment what you're about to. ik ik this was terrible, but my hawks simp was taking control... oopsie)
my eyes go wide and he pulls away. she scurried off.
"imma go... use the restroom" i said, dazed. i walked to the bathroom and sat on the floor.
