So, me and my family breed whippets. They're a type of sighthound, like greyhounds, salukis, and afghans. Sighthounds locate their prey by sight, rather than smell.
Whippets are the fastest accelerating dog in the world, and the second fastest for pure speed. Top speed goes to the greyhound. Whippets are actually a greyhound x terrier cross bred in England for—poaching. Yup. That and racing. People still race them all the time, and so do we!
Back to the subject. Whenever we have a litter, each of us kids is assigned a puppy (or two, depending on the litter size) to care for—walking, cleaning up after, feeding, etc. Our first litter consisted of six puppies, and we each received one.

The way the harness turned out makes me incredibly happy—not sure why, but I love staring at the straps. I really struggled with the legs, hence the ugly eraser lines.
It's probably one of my favorite pieces, so of course I had to go and ruin it with that horrible thing above him. What the heck is wrong with that font?? I think I tried going for an 'elvish' look (don't judge, I hate that phase of my life), but it turned out wonky.
