My Hawaiian boi finally got a redesign!!
I hope you like his new colors! I left off a lot of blue because he likes to swim, surf, and paddleboard, so I want him to stand out from the water when I draw him. I also cut his tattoos down to only his shoulder and foreleg, and altered them slightly. As mentioned before, they are real Polynesian and Māori designs—I didn't just doodle all over his leg and call it 'Hawaiian'! ^^
Maui is calm and level-headed, not easily riled or panicked. But don't let that fool you—he's an athlete, and lives for the rush of adrenaline. Besides water sports, he loves long, hard, endurance races across the mountains of Molokai, BASE jumping from the towering sea cliffs, canyoning in the lush ravines, and parasailing out at sea.
The font belongs to Maui Moisture, an excellent shampoo brand with great taste in design.

If you ever draw him, PLEASE, for the love of all that is good, DRAW HIM AS A WHIPPET. I know this sounds like a weird request, but I've received a drawing of him that was a wolf, so... I just want to make sure he's the kind of canine he actually is. If you aren't confident about drawing a whippet, there are hundreds of reference photos out there!
