I think her pose is my favorite out of the three—there's just something so satisfying about it! And it's not a completely side view, like Salu and the other are.

Positive traits: Feisty, protective, warm, sweet, outgoing

Negative traits: Aggressive, jealous, wary, moody, defensive

Raspberry is a fierce, rather high-strung mare. She is easy to antagonize and quick to pick a fight, but if a horse took the time to befriend her, she could be very kind. She is very caring toward horses close to her, but her swift mood changes can be abrasive and frustrating. Underneath her feisty exterior, though, she is very lonely and and craves companionship.

When Raspberry was born, she looked black, except for the chestnut tints around her eyes and in her fluffy little mane and tail, so her parents assumed she was a red roan. She was named by her mother, who loved the sweet little berries that grew in tangles on the hillsides, who thought the name would fit her personality and coloring. But neither did! She paled to blue and her baby sweetness and innocence faded also. Her mother still laughs about it sometimes.
