ring! ring! my phone went off. i picked it up to see my godsister naomi facetiming me.
"wassup girly?" i said answering the phone as it connected.
"hey love! what ya doin?" she asked me.
"catchin up on sum shows, nun much fr, you?" i asked.
"bored as hell, your mom home?" she asked.
"yea she in her room rn, wanna speak to her?" i asked.
"no its fine, just was asking. im boutta swing by if thats okay w/ you" she said.
"kk, lemme know when you outside" i told her.
"bet" she said hanging up.
i put my phone down on my nightstand getting up to walk to my moms room.
walking down the hall it smelled like straight cinnamon, she prolly had a candle lit.
i knocked on the door before opening it.
"ma, naomi said she boutta swing by just to let you know" i told her.
"ok thats fine, dnt be makin so much noise either!" she told me.
"ik, ik" i said shutting her door back.
i walked downstairs to grab the rest of my watermelon to eat up.
i grabbed it out the fridge & jogged back upstairs to my room waiting on naomi.
10 Minutes Later...
ping! i heard my phone.

i walked downstairs & opened the door for her as she embraced me w/ a big hug.
