Chapter 5.5 - Foreign Place Pt.2

Drista's POV:

"Shit..."

When I heard Jacks voice in a faint distance I knew he found out I escaped and is already looking for me, luckily for me I thought fast in going wolf form and already close to his territories border.

"I KNOW YOU CAN'T RUN FOREVER LITTLE ONE, I WILL FIND YOU ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!"

I ran and ran as fast as I could until I felt like my legs gave out but I couldn't stop not until knowing that I was away from his territory.
I collapsed and couldn't breathe I just needed to hope and pray that I made it to another territory in time...

*3 days later*

My head was banging really bad, I feel dehydrated and I really am hungry. I try to look around to see where I was and see in a distance that I am in a place called "The Rouge Territory" beats being in the L'manberg territory.
I heard a footstep to my direction and got into defense, I may be tired but I'm not going down without a fight!

"I'm not going to hurt you little one.."
'Its a female voice' I thought.

"Hi little one my name is pokimane but you can call me poki."
"Hello poki my name is Drista, where am I?"
"Oh that! You are in the rogue territory, I'm guessing you came from L'manberg?"
"Escaped from there but yes.."
"What pack are you from little one?"
"Nightmare"
"Oof, how you got to the L'manberg pack if you are from Nightmare?"
"Was kidnapped but escaped"
"Oh my god are you hungry do you have food and water?"
"Not exactly no"
"I got you don't worry"

"What pack are you from poki?"
"I'm from a pack that doesn't exist anymore, the Blood God pack."
"Ive heard legends from that pack.."
"It was a beautiful pack but Alpha Jack managed to overrule the land which is now L'Manberg."
"Wow Jack is a selfish guy"
"Heh yeah"

"How old are you exactly Drista?"
"I'm 10"
"Oh well I erm- well do you know much about this place?"
"Not really no.."

"Let me explain it to you really quick we must not be to much in the open.. This is where rogue wolfs come when they either dont have a pack, escaped from one, or want to be left alone. The problem is that once you enter you cant leave, yes this territory is in between the L'manberg and Nightmare pack, but you can only cross by if you have the alpha/luna, beta or one of the top 7 patrol wolfs by your side. Alone is going to be tricky mostly since 3 betas are basically in charge."

"What if I just tell them that I'm the alphas daughter?"
"Wait are you?"
"My name is Drista Nightmare"
"They would have to let me go to my pack or no?"
"Its an absolutely crazy idea that could work."

"I knew I smell 2 females here!"
"What do you want Schlatt we were on our way.."
"Nah nah you should know the rules by now little tiny pokimane. Who is this rat right next to you?"
"Oh um erm.."
"I am Drista Nightmare who wants to know."
"You are a Nightmare you say? If that is so where is that annoying brother of yours?"
"He isnt here"
"Oh you don't say.."
"Leave her alone Schlatt like I said we were on our way.."
"Shut the fuck up Pokimane. Now Drista you will walk next to me and I'll maybe consider to take you to my brother"
"I don't like those odds."
"You aren't suppose to like them idiot."
"Just leave her alone Schlatt she is only 10"
"That is even better! Stay out of my way Pokimane!"
"I don't want to go with you...."
"Its more like an order little rat so you have to obey."
"You aren't an alpha so you can't order me to do something!"
"Leave now Schlatt!"
"What did you just tell me pokimane?"
"I said leave now-"
*gunshot*

Everything happen in a blur, I see poki's body on the floor which was starting to bleed out, the idiot guy shot her in the arm.

"Are you going to obey now?!"
"NOOO! *Turns on her ring and cages Schlatt in thick roots from the ground*"
"Everything will be ok poki... *caries her with her ring*"

*After 10 min of running deep into the forest*

"My house is just past by those trees I have things to clean out my wound with.."
"I'm soo sorry poki, if you haven't met me you would still be alive.. All I bring is trouble.."
"I chose to help you little one and I dont regret it."
"Thank you poki, let's go just a few more feet."

*Poki's Cottage*

*puts poki in her bed*
"Right here is fine little one thank you."
"Is the least I could have done poki"
"Bring me that kit please"
*brings her the kit*
"Thank you, now do you know how to clean a wound by any chance?"
"I can learn"
"Good enough now here use this"

*40 min later*

"That should be fine thank you"
"No problem that was actually very fun!"
"Glad you had fun then"
"I forgot to mention but I think I was seeing things... What did you use to capture schlatt?"
"My Ring"
"Do you have one of the 9 rings?!"
"Yup"
"I thought those rings were just a legend... I didn't think they actually exist??"
"They do, but 2 rings are gone"
"Were those 2 rings your parents?"
"Yeah they were"
"I'm sorry for your loss Drista.."
"Its fine Poki"

"How do you know how to use your powers?"
"My parents taught both me and my brother for defense reasons."
"Your powers seemed strong."
"My powers are weak at the moment but they'll get stronger the more I grow up"
"Thats actually pretty cool!"
"It is... By the way do you have any food, I'm starving."
"Shit i forgot I'm sorry there are in that bottom drawer."
"*giggle* thank you poki"
"Thank you Drista"
