I was standing in the kitchen, Calum was trying to explain how to bake some sugar cookies that weren't from a box. I didn't have any interest in learning but he looked so passionate about the topic that I didn't have the heart to discuss.

The flower and butter were already combined and he was quizzing me on the steps. I just answered what I thought was right.

"What do we combine first?" He questioned with an expectant look on his face.

I squirmed and rubbed my hand on my forehead. "The drys?" I say in more of a question than an answer.

A smile broke through his face as he clapped. "Good job! It isn't that hard now is it?"

"It is." I reply, smiling as well. "It is hard. I don't know how you like it."

"It's calming." He explained. "Not if you burn it though."

"Maybe that's why it stresses me out." I laugh out loud.

He chuckled and grabbed another ingredient to combine with the mixture. I stared at his hands to see exactly what he was doing.

Calum handed me the wisk. I looked at him and panicked. "No thank you. I'll probably ruin it."

"Awe, come on, I'll help you." He reassured me, I nodded.

I started doing lazy circles with the batter, trying to imitate what Calum did a little while ago. I know with his head shake of dissatisfaction that I was doing it wrong.

He moved behind me, his hands covering mine. He is, like always, warm and cozy. My breath hitched and I stopped breathing for a few seconds. I reminded myself to breathe and I did.

I could feel his breath on my neck as he rested his head on my shoulder. He started guiding my hands in the exact folding movement he does to mix.

I try to relax into his touch but he's so electrifying that it makes it almost impossible. I can feel him staring at my face, I can't turn to look at him.

"You okay?" He asked, not stopping the whisking.

My breath came out shaky. "Yeah. Yeah, all good."

"You don't seem okay." He said with concern laced in his voice.

"No, I fi-" The words couldn't come out of my mouth when he kissed my cheek. "I-"

He stopped moving my hands and let them drop. He grabbed my waist and spun me around. I looked at him, wide eyed.

It was like he was staring into my soul. I diverted my gaze to somewhere else, his lips. When I looked up, he was looking at my lips as well.

Is this really happening, I thought. He looked at me, asking for permission. I nodded without hesitation.

I leaned forwards and so did he. In 2 seconds our lips were touching. I let my hands run through his hair and he clutched my waist.

We eventually pulled away. I was out of breath, he smirked.

"Wow." He spoke and looked away.

"I've been wanting to kiss you ever since that night in the eiffel tower." I confess, blushing.

"Me too. We almost did." He ran a hand through his hair and tried to tame the knots that I did.

"I heard you the other night- what you said before you fell asleep."

His head shot up and now he went pale. "Cass, I don't- well I do but- It's just..."

I shut him up by kissing him again. "I feel the same. I love you."
