I watched as this girl's eyes widened slightly in surprise. "You're real?" she asked after a short while.
"Yes." I said plainly, but I still showed happiness. It's been 300 years. And finally, a human can see me.
"I-is Santa Claus real aswell?" she asked as she locked her hands together. "Yeah! So is the Tooth Fairy, and The Easter Bunny, and the Sandman, and Jack Frost!" I went on.
The girl's smile widened as her eyes twinkled in a certain way. "Well, I am Abigail Monroe. And-"
Suddenly, the sound of thunder ringed in our ears as flashes of light appeared in the grey clouds. I sharply snapped my head to look at the sudden storm.
"Oh no..." I mumbled. I was about to take off to the air, when at that moment Abigail took hold of my hand. "Wait! Payton! Please... Wherever you are going, can I come with you?" she asked.
