Chapter 9

(Jeromes pov)
We got in the car and drove to a fancy dinner place downtown. Me and Mitch sat in the back of the car while Matt and Taylor were up front.
(Magical time skip of cactuses)
When we sat down at our table the female waitress started flirting with Mitch, which pissed me off. Taylor noticed me clenching and unclenching my fists and dared Mitch And me to snuggle, causing both of us to turn pink. Thankfully nobody noticed me because my fur covers my face, thank god. Mitch wrapped his arm around my shoulders and his tail around my waist, I snuggled up against his chest so when the waitress came back she gave us a disgusted look and quit flirting with Mitch, causing us all to laugh. Now I see why ya did it! Mitch exclaimed happily.
(Mitch's POV)
Taylor dared me and Jerome to snuggle for the rest of dinner,snuggle up to my crush without being judged,hell yeah!
But at the same time it was sorta worrying, what if he guessed I had feelings for him! Oh well,here goes nothin.
I wrapped my arm around his shoulders and under the table I wrapped my tail around his waist. He snuggled into my chest and we stayed like that for the rest of dinner. At one point our waitress came over took one look at me and Jerome snuggling and walked away,causing us all to laugh. Now I see why ya did it! I exclaimed happily.
(Time skip to back at home)
Alright we'll see ya guys in the morning! Jerome called to Taylor and Matt. We went up to Jerome's room and he flopped down on the right Side of the bed, I guess I get left then. I'm really tired, so I start to drift off immediately, but, before I fall asleep I hear 3 words I've been longing to hear since I met Jerome: I love you biggums, someday you'll see. And with that I drift off to sleep.
/Mitch's Dream\
Jerome.... I have to tell you something, I say quietly. What is it biggums, you can tell me anything. Jerome....I.....I love you! I shout, expecting rejection, instead he walks over to me and lifts my chin gently to look into my eyes. I love you to biggums, he whispers quietly, I look at him in surprise,tensing up as he slams his lips on mine after the initial shock, I kiss back. He pushes me up against the wall kissing me roughly, and then we hear a crash, we pull away and.....

I wake up with a pair of fluffy arms wrapped around my waist. I roll over to see a sleeping Jerome, to bad it was just a dream. I feel him shift so I roll over and pretend to be asleep, I feel him get up and walk over to my side of the bed. He presses his lips lightly on my forehead and walks off to get changed. I think this is the best day of my life.
I get up about 30 minutes later to go change. I walk Down stairs to be confronted with Taylor asleep on the stair rail.
It looks uncomfortable so I scoop her up and place her on the couch. I enter the kitchen to see......Seto and Brice making out.... I turn around and walk to the living room flopping down on the couch next to Taylor. What's up? She says opening 1 eye to looks at me. Can't find Jerome, I tell her. Oh Jerome and Matt went out to get groceries since Jerome didn't get them yesterday. Ohhhh ok, I groan, sooooo....why we're you asleep on the stair rail? I question, she's scrunches up her eyebrows trying to remember, oh! She exclaims, I came down at like 1 in the morning to make tea... I must not have made it that far. We both laugh, hey Tay? Hmmm? You wanna watch hunger games? I ask. Shure thing Benja! She says happily. She starts the movie and my mind drifts back to my dream, could that ever happen? I definitely want it to..... but what about Jerome?
