Hiccup, Toothless, the Flightmare, and the pack of wild dragons are now headed to the White King's nest. Hiccup feels the urge to ask the dragons about the queen's intentions, but his mind is somewhat far from that. His main problem is how can he not control his anger. Is it the violent blood of dragons? No one knows. Toothless can feel what Hiccup feels, so he remains quiet and gives him time to gain his bearings.

As they come closer to the nest, they feel the frigid winds of his domain. The collosal wyrmm of northern oceans created it's dwellings with it's powerful icy breath that froze the ever so cold waters, and thus form a widespread frozen spire. The ice takes a longer, longer time to melt. Inside the nest are a menangerie of dragons in various species. The king doesn't need to control the other dragons, he believes in earning their repect and favor first. In which so many dragons follow and defend him without the power of his will and command. It's more like a parent sheltering his children, and his childrens protects him back.

Hiccup and rest finally reached the entrance. Then the telepathic voice reached him out, it was the king.

"So... you've return safely." His voice echoing in Hiccup's head. It wasn't booming or anywhere loud. It was lethargic which gave more proof that the King is close to his century long hibernation. "And with the Flightmare..."

"Yes my king, I'm afraid he's injured. He took... a sharp blow to the head. And is still unconscious." Hiccup stops walking for a second to answer back.

"I see... Bring him here." And so his telapathy ends.

As they go to the king's area Hiccup releases the Flightmare. He was very weak, and can hardly breathe. The King sighs in dismay. The wounds were too deep, and there nothing else he could do. Except this. The King inhales, then exhales a surge of frozen wind, that froze the Flightmare all over. Now preserve in a cold embrace the Flightmare's body is now transported to Vanaheim, the resting place of dragons.

"I'm sorry, I wasn't there for him when he needed me the most." Hiccup stares at the ground in grief.

The king stayed silent, then faces Hiccup. "Don't be, you did what you could. Now get some rest."

Hiccup enterd his grotto where Toothless was waiting. With eyes full of despair Hiccup wanted to make ammends.

"You can't become the being that unites both races, if ou can control both aspects of your being." Toothless stares at Hiccup.

"I know bud... I never really felt the power of this blood until earlier." Hiccup removes his armor and faces his partner.

"It tells me to give in to bloodlust and rage. It makes me think that dragons were born evil. That scares me bud." Hiccup sits down wiping the sweat off his face.

"Maybe, maybe so. Some of us might have been born rotten. But under any knid of circumstance we can learn to let go of that feeling that wells up inside." Cloudjumper enters the room as well.

"Tell me Cloudjumper... how did you overcome this feeling?" A voice cracks in despiration.

"By learning to accept it, and to learn compassion." Cloudjumper places his wing over Hiccups head. "That is something I've learn from the king. A very priceless gift no doubt."

"Now get some rest. You seem exhausted." He takes his leave.

Hiccup wanted to control his blood, and so he begins to meditate. He wanted to clear his mind and achieve clarity. Toothless provides him moral support. Hiccups calls upon his blood, and so his eyes turn red, his fangs grew and bared. A great pain enveloped his body. And left him on the floor exhausted.

"I think I should rest up for a while Toothless." He slumps over to his bed and fell asleep. Toothless blankets him with his wings and sleeps beside him.

The next day, he does his routine. To exercise his mind and body, to lessen both the physical and mental strain his blood has on his body. Every passing day Hiccup control gets stroner and stronger. The King and Cloudjumper observes him and commends his will to push on. Truly Hiccup's will never falters.

"I never knew you were malevolent from the start my king, because that explains his current conditions alot." Cloudjumper faces the king with a questioning look.

"That was when i had ties with... the queen of the burning mountains." He spoke in a soft voice. "If i hadn't realized my actions i would have a terrible king devoid of love and compassion for his kin.

"I see... I can't wait to see our prince's growth over the next few years. Cloudjumper flies off the area.

"I too as well old friend..."
