I can't hear anything. I can barely see. All I know is that I'm shaking and I want to cry. Can people really be this cruel? I feel dizzy. Had I done something wrong? I hadn't done anything. Should I have been nicer? I should've just apologized. God, I'm so stupid. If only I had-

Before I can finish that thought, I feel like I'm falling and I hear someone shout, "Stella!"

And then everything goes dark.

TW: panic attacks, fainting, etc.

I open my eyes to a bright room and a single figure sitting next to me.

"Rafe...?" I say groggily, too confused and tired to feel surprised about the tall blonde boy looking down at me.

"What?"

"What are you doing here?" I ask him, leaning up and looking around the room. "Where are my friends? Where's my grandma?"

Rafe rolls his eyes. "I dunno. The staff called them, but they all went to voicemail. I guess your friends are pretty shitty after all."

I ignore his statement, knowing that where they are doesn't have signal. "Where am I?"

"Emergency room."

I sit up, making me see stars. "Emergency room? I'm in the ER?"

"Woah, woah, woah. Sit down, I don't need you fainting on me again. It was fucking inconvenient. I was going to- nevermind," Rafe runs his fingers through his hair. "What's wrong with the ER?"

I groan. "With your ugly shirt and whatever hospital bill I'm gonna get, I'm broke."

Rafe rolls his eyes again. "Don't worry about that."

I glare at him. "Look, polo boy, we don't all have rich daddies we can just take money from, okay? Shut up. You can leave," I lean back, sighing. "I hope your dick is burnt."

Rafe scoffs. "Okay, first of all, I can't leave. Second of all, Sarah insisted on paying for the shirt and I paid for the hospital bill. Third, nothing is burnt."
