What a day! Aahhhh...

Dixie: "I'm calling my mom. We are going to spend the day together doing whatever we want.."
After breakfast we got dressed. I still didn't have any clothes so i asked Noah if he could drop me off at my house just so i could get ready...

Dixie: "Thanks Noah i will be only like 10 mins"
Noah: "Sure no problem"

Noahs POV

Omg. I i was falling for her. A high school nerd is with a high school jock.. I just wish that nobody would laugh so we could be together already but i knew they would...

Noah:
Look, we are done.
And besides you like

like someone else bye Sarah...

Obviously i missed Sarah. We had been together over 2 years. But she was toxic and i knew Dixie was a great girl i just had to be patient.
Then kenzie (Dixies little sister) walked out of the open door. She strolled towards the car almost looking concerned.
Kenzie: "what's the deal with you too? and do you know where i can find johnny he hasn't been answering my calls i'm really worried.."

Noah: "Me and dix are friends and i'm pretty sure he is at Vanessa's. Sorry Kenz i know you liked him.."

Kenzie: "oh ok.. and how did you know."

Noah: "Johnny said that he thinks you like him and that he likes you too he just has to find a way to break up with Vanessa.."

Dixies POV

Now i had to look cute for Noah.
that's what i was wearing and i loved it!

Dixie: "oh hey Kenzie! you good?"
Kenzie: "yes just asking Noah something you know about you two" **smirks**
I playfully hit her and she walks inside and waved us off.
Noah: "Look we need to talk.."
Dixie: "Ok.. what about? is everything ok?"
Noah: "i like you dixie, a lot. But you don't like me. What is the deal?"
Dixie: "I like you Noah but i'm just not ready. I'm sorry.."
Noah: "I get that but just remember i'm always here.. waiting"
The rest of journey nobody spoke. I felt bad for Noah. I didn't know when i was gonna be ready and it wasn't fair that he had to wait. But i didn't want him getting a girlfriend and forgetting about me..

Noah's POV

Dixie was the one. But i just wanted her to be mine already..
We arrived and i covered her eyes, leading her to the special destination.
Noah: "And open," I said uncovering here eyes so she could what I had done. This is what i had prepared..

Cheese, salads, chips, pink lemonade. The perfect beach picnic lunch.
Noah: "Do you like it?"

Dixies POV

AHHH IT WAS PERFECT! This man cared about me and i would be stupid to let him go.
Dixie: "Noah it's perfect. Nobody has ever done anything like his for me before. Thank you, THANK YOU!"

We talked all day. He had even brought me a swimming costume so we swam in the ocean. We built sandcastles like we were five and had a sand fight. This was perfect. Everything was perfect.

The drive home was smooth. He placed his hand on my thigh the whole way home.
Dixie: "I packed pjs in my bag and my mom said i can stay at yours so can I?"
Noah: "Of course! and it even better because Tyler is at Sarah's!"
Ugh. The thought of those two together made me want to throw up...

Back at home we watched YOU. The same show i had saw him watch when i first visited. It was like it was our show. We cuddled on the sofa my head digging into his chest. And then i kissed him. But this time it felt real. A long, gentle kiss. It lasted for atleast 5 minutes before he pulled away.
Noah: "I'm enjoying that Dix but are you serious. I don't wanna be let down.."
Dixie: "it's just a kiss Noah ot doesn't mean we are together" I said giggling "does it?" a more serious look spreading across my face.
Noah: "Well to me it does. I had the best day but something i lied about. I will not just sit and wait until your ready Dixie. I should be able to still date others. Just because your not ready doesn't mean i have to wait. I'm going to bed..."
Crap. What had i done. I didn't have the energy to fight back so i grabbed my stuff and left. As soon as i was home i stormed into my room and cried into my pillow. And then my phone pinged. I was hoping it was Noah. But it wasn't. It was Tyler. Sending me pictures of him and Sarah cuddling.. This jsut made things 100x worse.

Noah's POV
As soon as i heard the door close i ran to my room and lay there. That was u till my phone rang. I was kinda hoping it was dixie but i was Sarah. Cuddling Tyler. This made things so much harder.
