It was practically a normal day of practice. The wooden floors chasing the quick movement of feet to squeak. Small randomly placed beads of sweat that had flown off bare foreheads or drenched tips of hair. The mirrors flashed with the reflections of the boys that practiced. The room was lively, more lively than it had been in months.

Kingdom had made the practice room seem like a nightmare. Nothing but stress and heavy breathing. But finally, it was over, and all the hard work and sleepless nights paid off. And not to mention, the room finally was shared amongst eight instead of seven.

And Hyunjin could say he felt a bit rusty. He'd wanted to take his hiatus head on with endless days of hours long practice. But instead he was put into volunteer work to see his misdoings. Though you wouldn't find him complaining, he didn't mind helping others, but now he did feel a bit behind on his skill, while his fellow teammates seemed like they were so far ahead they needed a break.

So for his first real practice in months, he'd decided to dance his hardest. He knew he'd get criticized, and he'd take it and make the change. But yet from another point of view, Hyunjin was everything but sloppy. His moves seemed clean cut and smooth. They seemed to be filled with even more emotion than before. Though the others could tell it was mostly happiness for the moment as they shared the same feeling; everyone was happy to be together again.

They had rerun any song they could, practicing it down to perfection. As if it even needed much perfecting. But everyone was proud of the work they'd done, especially Chan who'd been the main observer of his teams ups and downs.

"We've done well today guys, so I say, for the last two hours, we do whatever we want." Chan had meant it. He didn't care if it meant they weren't even dancing, he was okay being sat in a circle having small talk. Anything that involved them all was okay.

Hyunjin's eyes flickered with hope, "Could you guys teach me some of the dances from kingdom?" He'd thought of teaching himself each time he watched one of the performances, but it didn't feel right if it wasn't taught from them. He may be one of their main dancers, but right of now he was a student, ready to learn instead of teach.

The others beamed with excitement, Felix being the first to jump up and pull WOLFGANG up on their speaker. "We can start with the main chorus of WOLFGANG then." Felix announced, pulling Hyunjin to stand next to him.

So with Hyunjin being a quick learner, in the next 15 minutes he'd learned the chorus and happily danced it next to the others. He'd been happy to realize that for that performance, they'd danced with the set up of eight. Even going as far to have a 'extra' back up dancer squat on the floor as if Hyunjin was going to climb on his back. So he easily found his place, and moved with them as if he truly belonged in the performance.

Hyunjin had been smiling the whole time, even giggling to the others random shouts and barks.

Next, Minho pulled him aside for the choreography of Wolf. The others aside from Minho himself, Felix and Jeongin, sat aside to watch after having their own separate groups for that section of kingdom. They didn't know the dance and were just as entertained watching the learning process go down.

After another 55 Minutes of learning each main chorus of the others kingdom experience, Hyunjin had each one down, and felt more in place as he danced alongside everyone. Those four months did more damage than he'd thought. He'd never lost contact with the others, but he couldn't help but feel like they were forced against their wills to leave him behind.

He'd watched them live so freely in spring, while he was stuck, frozen in winter.

Dramatically falling to the floor as did a couple others, Hyunjin panted as he remembered one dance he wanted to do. The only stage he'd gotten to do, the big burst of happiness he'd had before that was torn away; The Miroh stage. Sure, countless hours were spent preparing for that stage, but it did nothing but bring him joy once it was all said and done.
