I don't know if it's just because I'm lame or because I just think DCOM musicals just fit this show more than actual broadway level musicals but I just think it would be cool if they did Teen Beach Movie and/or Teen Beach 2 for season 3. I mean, it's obvious they're gonna have a summer themed season, as they should, but I think it would be cool if they did Teen Beach.
I mean, if Jamie ever returns, think about how they can make references on how similar Seacat and Jamie look (since they're both played by Jordan Fisher, ya know?). Like I just picture Teen Beach being Gina's guilty pleasure DCOM because when she was young, she would always try to recreate the dances. But like, whenever Seacat pops up and if Jamie was ever around, she would tease him with the whole, "that guy looks just like you, bro," moment and it would just piss Jamie off every time. It would be just like the Jack/Gina interaction when they first met.
I don't know, just something to keep the meta-ness of the show alive or whatever.
(Also, random side-note, it would be hilarious if they did Dear Evan Hansen at one point because, bruh, they have three actors on this show who has played Evan at one point on Broadway like what?)
