8. Dinner with the family

-Foolish P.O.V-
I pull Y/n to the kitchen where mom is cooking some pasta with tomato sauce for dinner. "Hey mom! Y/n agreed to stay for dinner!" I exclaimed while hopping lightly on the ball of my feet. I feel a slight tug at the end of my hoodie, I look down at the sleeve to see Y/n pulling on it. I decide to prevent the tugging I grab hold of Y/n's hand.

"Hi Y/n Thank you for staying, you aren't allergic to anything right? I really hope not I'm making pasta put if you don't like that I can always make somethi-"

"Mom- mom stop you're rambling now, give n/n a chance to answer." I giggle out y/n also giggles a bit but answers "no no I'm not allergic to anything don't worry about it ma'am." They tell mom in a polite tone. "You don't need to call me ma'am you can just call me mom sweety." Mom tells them.

      I look over to y/n to see they are smiling and I think blushing? I squeeze their hand a bit to get their attention. Y/n turns to me and smiles their beautiful smile. I pull y/n away from the kitchen and bring them to my bedroom.

    We sit there talking about different foods we like and all that. After about 15 minutes mom calls us down for dinner.

-Y/n P.O.V-

We walk downstairs together talking about sharks, mainly lemon sharks and mainly me teaching him about them. We sit down while still talking about the sharks. "Hey Noah can you come help me out please" Mrs.Brown calls out. Noah nods to you indicating he'll be back to finish our conversation. I turn to Megan to see her on her phone. So I decide to annoy her "Moo moo moo moo moo-" "Yes?" She cuts me off  "whoooooo yaaa talking toooo?" I question laughing at her reaction. "Um no one..."

      "Yeah okay it's probably Allie." I joke around "or should I say your other half twin flame platonic soulmate?"

"Oh shut up will you?" She jokes around while turning her phone off and putting it in her pocket.

-time skip to after dinner I really don't wanna write it lmao-

-Foosh P.O.V-

"So how did you enjoy dinner y/n?" Mom asked y/n while we were picking up the table.

" it was really nice Mrs.Brown thank you so much." They said while placing a stack of plates on the counter beside the sink.

"It's absolutely no problem you are welcomed here any day seeing as you put up with all three of them." Mom laughed out starting to fill the sink with water and soap. "Yeah I don't know how you do it moo is so annoying." I scoffed laughing

I felt a small hit on the back of my head, I turn around to see a fake scolding look from Y/n. "Moo is not annoying, idiot if anything you're more of the handful." N/n scolded laughing.

"Yeah yeah sure whatever." I rolled my eyes looking over at Megan. "Meggggggg what are you doinngggggggg." I whined bored. "Will you ever stop whining?" She sighs looking at me "no." I reply simply turning around to go back upstairs. I went to leave but I felt a tug at my arm pulling me back around. "You still have some dishes to do young man." Y/n scolded again pulling me to the kitchen to wash them.

"Whyyyyyyyyyyy I don't wannnnaaaa" I whined again as they were pulling me back. "Because your mom made dinner it's only polite for us to do the dishes Noah." Y/n stayed in a matter of fact tone "fine if you say so loser. I'll wash them you dry them." I said taking off my sweater so I didn't wet it.

I filled the sink with hot water and soap and soaking the plates. I washed them quickly and then rinsed them handing them to y/n to dry. I would sometimes have to tell them where to put stuff, other then that we cleaned in a comfortable silence. I finally finished washing everything and started draining the sink, I turned the tap on and rinsed my hands so I had no soap on them.

I turned the tap off and right before I went to dry my hands I flicked water onto Y/n. "Hey! What the hell was that for?" They yelled in shock. Right as I saw their face I ran. I ran around the dining table with them behind me and then I ran to the living room where everyone else was. "What did you do this time Noah?" Megan questioned me as I was running around the couch Y/n on my tail. " NO TIME TO TALK BYE!" I screech running up the stairs to my room, I ran in and shit the door immediately. I heard Y/n yelling on the other side to let them in.

"No! You can't come in you'll jump on me!" I screeched a bit out of breath. "No I won't.....I promise..... I just wanna come in and see my loving amazing friend." They said in a very unconvincing voice. "Do you pinky promise you won't?" I ask hesitantly, still not trusting them. "I swear I will not." They said. "Fine...." I hesitantly opened the door for them to come in. They did and at first nothing happened but right as I went to sit down I got tackled. " AHHH HEY YOU PROMISED" I screamed trying to get them off me. Luckily since I was a foot ball player I was able to get Y/n off me easily. I held them down against my bed. "HOW'D YOU DO THAT?!" They yelled shocked i got them off me.

"I played football for years Y/n....what did you expect" I laughed at their shocked face. "Oh yeah......" they chuckled a bit shyly. I got up and sat at the top of my bed against the headboard. Y/n slowly got up and sat by me. As they sat by me i but my arm on the headboard behind them and we continued talking about lemon sharks.

          "Did you know lemon sharks carry babies for 12 months in their stomach and can give birth to 17 other sharks." Y/n said tiredly you could tell they had a long day, they were up really early if I remember correctly. "Mmmthats really cool." I say looking towards them to see them looking at my ceiling. "They also have realllly bad vision and only can see in murky water because that where they usually live." They said laying their head on my shoulder. I brought my arm down from the headboard to their shoulder and pulled them closer so that they were comfortable. "Maybe they should just wear glasses then. Maybe go see the eye doctor" I mused hoping to get a smile.

      They laughed a bit but I could tell how sleepy They were. "N/n why don't you lay down and go to sleep, I'll take the couch." I tried to get them to lay down. "Mmmno I'm fine I promise." They said while still leaning on me yawning. "Cmon," I said getting up and laying them down. "Let's get you to bed you can go home tomorrow." I said tucking them in. I moved their hair out of their face and wrote a little note on the side table saying,

      'Hi N/n you are at the brown household you fell asleep in my bed (Noah) if you need anything check with moo she's normally up if not uh wake me up'

     I got up and turned off my lights and went to my set up shutting it down. I leave the door open just a bit so some light streamed into the room. I left downstairs and watched some cartoons on the couch.

~Y/n P.O.V~

      As I slowly feel asleep I felt someone drag me into a laying down position and tuck me in. I felt my hair get pushed out of my face I kind of nuzzled my head into the hand but not a lot. After that I let sleep over take me and my thoughts calm down.
