Chapter 10

SKYE POV

"Are you ready?" Alice asks as I stand in the middle of the hallway of The Cullens house. I nod and smooth out my dress. "You look so beautiful," Alice sighs scanning my curves and body. I smile and look out the window. " Oh she's here." I say nervously as Bella steps out of Edwards car.

Edward had told Bella about how we were all vampires and surprisingly she was ok with it, in fact Edward and Bella are dating now.Except Edward never told her I was a vampire so lets see how that goes...

 I watch as Edward helps Bella through the front door. 

"SKYE, ALICE HELP PLEASE," Esme's voice comes from the kitchen sounding a little panicked. I laugh turning back from the window to find Alice staring at me once again. I smirk at her and run to the kitchen grabbing her hand on the way. "Wow," Jasper says his eyes going even wider for once as he looks me up and down. Emmet wolf whistles making Rosalie slap him. I laugh and roll my eyes looking at all the food on the table and the tv playing a chef show or something like that. " Wow thats a lot of food for one person." I grin taking the grater out of Esme's hands and helping her out. "Well Bella may be hungry." Esme replied laughing. 

Rosalie just rolls her eyes. "Is she even Italian?" Rosalie snaps making Emmet roll his eyes. "Babe her names Bella," He replies kissing her cheek. "I'm sure she will love it no matter what." Carlisle says breaking the tension and giving Esme a kiss. Suddenly we all look up as we smell a strong aroma of blood.

"Here comes the human." Rosalie says in a sing song voice. "Rose be nice," I say glaring at her. Rosalie just rolls her eyes but gives me a little smirk. "Bella..." I say as she walks into the room."Skye? Wh- Oh your your a vampire as well ,"Bella grins nodding her head as she understands. I nod surprised she figured it out this early. "Yeh I kind of figured," She laughed making me feel a lot my relaxed.

Edward begins to introduce Esme as she comes up to Bella . "Bella this is Esme, my mother for all intent and purposes." Esme smiles her pearly white teeth shining in the dim light. Bella returns the smile. "Your giving us an excuse to use the kitchen for the first time," Carlisle laughs. "I hope your hungry," Esme laughs gesturing at all the food. Bella nods admiring the food. "She just ate." Edward grins awkwardly. Rosalie who was holding the salad bowl clenches her hands breaking the bowl in the process.

Rosalie growls glaring at Bella. "Perfect." Emmet sighs walking over to Rosalie and wrapping his arm around her shoulders. Bella stammers "I-it's just because you guys don't eat so-," She begins but Esme stops her. "Of course how considerate."She smiles. Carlisle comes around the kitchen as well putting his arm around Esme's shoulders. Edward moves a little closer to Bella. "Just ignore Rosalie... I do," He whispers making Rosalie fume.

"Yeh let's just keep pretending like this isn't dangerous for all of us." Rosalie snaps. Bella licks her lips nervously. "I just want you guys to know I would never tell anybody anything," She says trying to break the awkwardness. "She knows that." I say looking at Rosalie. 

Alice chimes in from her place by the door. I don't think Bella even saw her. "Hi Bella... I'm Alice." She smiles hugging Bella. Alice grins at me scrunching her nose. "Your were right she does smell good." "Alice what are you-?" Edward chuckles. "Its ok Edward Bella and I are going to be great friends." Alice grins her fairy like grin. She walks back over to me and stands so close I can smell the perfume she was wearing like it was sprayed up my nose.I try to hold back my grin but can't as my love for Alice was more overpowering than the perfume.

"All right I'm going to take you on a tour of the rest of the house," Edward says awkwardly. "Well I will see you soon." Alice says smiling at her and Edward as they leave the room. "Well that was something." I sigh struggling to control the blood lust. "Skye are you ok? Your eyes are flashing red ... how long did you say you had been off human blood?" Alice asks worriedly. I advert my eyes to the floor and gulp nervously. "Um I am fine don't worry. And about 3 months." I chuckle nervously. Everyone nods. "Guys stop I am ok." I say seriously. Alice just laughs nodding anf taking my hand before fiddling with my fingers.
