After Mahon's soul's departure to Koushi's world. Koushi remained silent as he took a pair of clothes inside the closet and started to change for breakfast.

He was one of the unfavored young masters in the duchy, thus, he had no maid to tend to his daily needs. As he bends his knees to shove it into one of the holes of the black shorts. He immediately shrieked when he felt a stabbing pain on one of his knees.

It was a pain that no child could bear but Koushi was already an adult and this much pain was bearable. He swallowed the lump on his throat as he tried to endure the pain.

Looks like after a week of not using my muscles it had become too stiff. Maybe that's why it hurts.

After the painful changing of clothes, he then looked at the young demigod sitting lazily in the air above him. As if he was lounging on an invisible sofa.

"Aren't you leaving?" Koushi asked as he tied the thin lace on the collar of his shirt into a ribbon. He was wearing a white long bishop sleeves blouse that extends up to the tip of his fingers paired with black shorts with suspenders.

"Nope..."

"Why? Mahon isn't even here anymore."

"So?"

Koushi looked at him with a dumbfounded expression on his face. The demigod seemed to understand what that look means and instantly replied.

"You look interesting so I'll stick with you for the meantime."

"Please, don't..."

"Okay, I will never leave your side." The young demigod mutter as he smiled widely showing his perfectly aligned ivory white teeth.

Koushi remained silent as he looks at Caligula with lazy eyes before waving his hands, signaling that he does not give a fuck about his matters anymore and for him to do whatever he wished for.

Once he was done changing he immediately walk towards the door. While walking he couldn't help but flinch every time he moves his right leg. It's like a needle was pricking his knees continuously every time he would bend it and that pain would immediately make his whole leg tremble.

"Are you alright?" Caligula asked as he passed behind the elven boy when he saw his legs shaking slightly as he walks into the hallway. Koushi didn't even bother to reply and just kept on walking.

Since Caligula is a demigod with a vast amount of power he was able to hide his presence around mortals. At this time, no other existing being could see him aside from Koushi.

"You're legs have been trembling for a while now." He uttered as he walks past the elven boy and standing in front of him, blocking his way.

Looking at the pale sweating face of the child. Caligula instinctively knew that the little guy wasn't fine. But Koushi on the other hand insists on not interacting with him the whole journey.

If you don't wanna talk then don't.

He told himself as he rolls his eyes before snorting and turning around with his arms crossed in front of him.

Once they reached the dining room, one of the servants looked at Mahon with a mocking stare before opening the door. But Koushi didn't have time to notice it since his mind was already full with the pain he was trying to endure during the whole stroll.

His room was placed in the furthermost part of the annex while the dining room is in the main building that was four buildings away from the annex.

He couldn't help but curse inwardly as he walked past the door, entering the dining area.

As if the uneasiness he was already feeling from his aching leg wasn't enough. They even added those icy stares that are like boring a hole on Koushi's face, making him much more uncomfortable.

When he entered, he immediately saw three fine men sitting near each other and on the furthermost part of the table, he saw the silver-headed child that is with him this morning, sitting on a chair with his feet dangling to the ground.

He just sat there not saying a word and looking all uncomfortable. Koushi couldn't help but feel sympathetic towards the boy when he saw him bite his lips with his face looking all distorted.

Mahon looked at the three men sitting on the other side of the table, eating, talking like a normal family, and couldn't help but feel enraged.

If he could, he would have already shouted at them and scold them. But he couldn't, he was in the body of a 10-year-old child, smaller than those of his age, with no money, no power. If he were to go on rampage against the duke and its children he would already be kicked out in an instant.

Azrar felt someone entered the room and he knew already knew who it was. The food was already served and all the maids and butlers were already here. Aside from the duke and his sons. There are only two more people who were to enter this room at a time like this.

Azrar immediately lifts his head to look at the person who entered the room and saw Mahon standing a few feet away from the table with his hands clenched, his brows furrowed, and lips pressed into a thin line.

It takes only a tail and pair of furry ears and he would already pass as a feline. Azrar bit his lips when he felt like he was about to let out a laugh.

Glancing at the young elven boy, looking like he was about to throw hands at the people at the other side of the table, made Azrar's heart that was sinking a while ago lightened.

Mahon contained his anger and breathed a long sigh before he walked towards the side where Azrar was sitting.

Watching the elven boy walked towards the silver-headed boy he used to yell at every single day with no trace of hostility on his face made every being inside the dining hall's jaws drop.

A week ago, the elven child was still cursing and pinning the blame of his mother's death on Azrar, now he was looking at him all soft and fluffy as if he had never told the latter that he was annoying?

What on earth did just happened?

The Duke feign a cough to get the elven child's attention, he was making it obvious that he meant for the child to look at him but Mahon on the other hand pinned his sight towards Azrar still walking towards the latter as if he hadn't heard the Duke.

Once Mahon reached the chair next to Azrar, he immediately tiptoed to get on the top. Once he had sat down, he began to eat. He looked down the table and saw a surprising amount of tablewares.

Why the fuck are there so many spoons and forks in here? Don't they feel bad about the person who washed the dishes? And what's this?

He asked as he took a spoon and dip it on the green soup in front of him.

The hell is this food? Water with molds? How the hell am I able to eat this? No, I can't go on with this. I need my daily intake of rice.

Mahon then raised his fist, only with his thumb, index, and middle finger standing straight pointing upwards, to get all the servants' attention. But a few minutes have passed with his hands above his heads, no servants were still walking up to the table to assist him.

Am I doing it wrong? But, this is how we do it in high-end restaurants if you want to call on a waiter...
