"What's happening?" Mahon asked the young man as they both watched the servants scurry away, again, while paying no heed to both of them.

Koushi has now truly accepted the fact that he was now Mahon. "It seems like something big was about to happen." The young demi-God lazily floating in the air said with an analyzing look on his face.

Indeed, something was about to happen. Mahon followed the servants with Azrar following behind. As they reach the stairs they saw the main door open and amid the busy hall with servants scurrying away. A man wearing a fancy suit and hat walked in tapping his ebony staff on the marble ground.

The elven looked at the man with baffled eyes and couldn't help but recall the memories he had of the manga. But no matter how much of the info he tries to dig up inside his little brain he couldn't see a single strand of this man being in the novel.

"Brother, who are they?" Azrar asked as he peeked through the space between the rails.

"I also have no clue..." He mumbled as he look at the foreign man. As soon as the man entered the house the Duke and his sons immediately greeted him.

As they talk the man in the fancy suit lifted his hands, with the other still on his staff, and immediately a burly man rushed towards him carrying a small box that seems to flicker underneath Mahon's gaze.

Mahon's eyes immediately turned into a pair of slits. "Caligula..." He lightly called on the demigod that immediately inched closer to him.

"Yes?" The young man asked with his brows raised and lips pouting.

"Since you didn't want to leave my side. Then at least help me sometimes..." The elven boy uttered.

"What do you mean...?" The demigod asked.

Mahon's gaze back to the man in a fancy suit. That box seems to be familiar. Though he wasn't aware of what was inside that box. He knew that it was something of high relevance to the plot.

"Infiltrate the main building and help me understand what seems to be happening." He uttered without removing his gaze from the box and the man.

"What? I'm sure, I could just ask the breeze to collect me what you were asking."

"No." Mahon object. "Have you forgotten? My father though wasn't on par with a demigod he's still a 7th circle magician. If you use your power to explore the main building I'm sure he would be able to at least sense it." He added.

"What a bummer..." Caligula mutter as he begrudgingly snaps his fingers. Gradually, his transparent body which used to resemble a ghost slowly turns opaque. Ratifying that he was now visible to people aside from Mahon.

"Why am I even doing this..." Uttered Caligula. As he stomps his feet towards the path to the kitchen.

Once the demigod left Mahon sighed in relief before he turned around only to see Azrar's eyes full of malice that last for only a second for when he called the younger boy's name the fiery gaze which seems to be vehemently dangerous, slowly dissipates into oblivion.

"Brother!" The young boy joyfully called with a wide innocent smile on his face.

A smile unwittingly appeared on Mahon's face when he saw the boy's tiger teeth. He reached out his hand and glided it on the younger's white hair and couldn't help but feel soft.

...

It's been two hours since Caligula left for his 'mission' of bringing 'some special tea' for Mahon. The two were now leisurely waiting in Mahon's room.

Mahon with a book in his hands happily read a parable to the white-haired child lying on his lap giggling like a little girl when he heard his imitations of the character's voice in the book.

"Why are you laughing?" Mahon asked though he already knows why the child was laughing.

"You sound funny when you do the wolf's voice." The child chuckled.

"You mean THIS..." Mahon uttered turning deeper at the last word. The boy giggled when he heard this making Mahon's heart soft.

Azrar was only 9 yet he was timid. He lacks the playfulness a child his age should have. But in front of Mahon, he is shy, giggles at the smallest things, and cries at the tiniest provocation, he is the child he should be in front of his brother. But in front of anyone else, he was different.

He rarely talks, he rarely cries, he is polite, and he is obedient, even to those people who should be serving him. He is the child of a noble one had envisioned. And that was all because he is afraid.

Afraid to be encased in that same old dark room alone. He was afraid of being not able to eat or move. So instead of showing this childishness, he shoved them into the deepest pit of his mind never showing it to others. Afraid of provoking anyone and being locked in that usual yet unfamiliar room.

"Brother?" Azrar called as he looked at Mahon with a concerned expression on his face.

Mahon's eyes which were full of tenderness immediately glossed at the thought of the bitterness this child on his lap had been through at a tender age.

Seeing his brother's reddened eyes. Azrar immediately sat down next to him. He never knew how to comfort someone for he had never seen anyone cry in front of him. All his life he never saw eyes full of tears only those full of mockery and contempt.

He knew how to respond to these emotions. And that is to bow his head and never let them see his ominous eyes. But eyes looking at him full of sadness was something he was unfamiliar with that's why the moment he saw Mahon's eyes that was full of tears he couldn't help but just also cry.

"Brother... Why are you crying? Please stop crying..." He uttered with his face full of tears and snot. He lifted his arms and immediately hugged while still crying and calling his brother's name continuously. Asking him not to cry anymore.

Mahon who had now calmed down, hugged the other boy back.

'What demon are they saying? This child was obviously an angel.'

He thought to himself. The arms that are enveloping the boy with white hair then gradually tightened.

'Clearly, they were just thinking of an excuse to wash their hands off the sin of prosecuting a child for the death of its mother.'

Slowly, a wide smile appeared on Mahon's lips, and his eyes immediately beams.

'Well... If they were that desperate for a demon. Then I'll give them one...'
