The Day we lost her - Swat - Christina Alonso

"Don't you dare do this Chris!" You yell as Chris peers down

"You know. This life was made for me, but clearly I wasn't made for this life" Chris says as she steps off of the bridge

"Chris!" You scream as Hondo holds you back

*3 weeks earlier*

"What've we got?" You ask

"School shooting. Couple of hostages held inside. Suspected 4 shooters" Hondo explains

"Let's roll then" You add as they all walk out

Deacon then catches up with you

"Are you sure your okay kid?" He asks

"Yes dad! I'm fine!" You say before suiting up

Deacon had you when he was only 17. Your mom took off and left you on his doorstep. You've always wanted to follow in your dads footsteps little did you know, you would get placed on the same team as him. Your dad would do anything to protect you and you would do anything to protect him. Minuets later you arrive at the shooting

"Okay Deacon, Chris, Y/N! You take the top floor!" Hondo orders as you and deacon run in with Chris at the back

"Okay I'll take the south and you take the west! Chris you take the east!" Deacon orders

You run and manage to clear out all of the classrooms. However you haven't heard from your dad in a while. You run to find him. You discover him in a classroom tied up to a chair with a gun pointed at his head. You point the gun at the man. Chris then runs in and stops when she sees deacon

"I swear to god! Drop the gun before I drop you!" You yell as deacon shoots you a look

"Aww look at the little girl that's come to save you!" The man behind the gun yells as Chris looks at you

"I'm not kidding! Drop the gun!" You yell as you walk closer to them

"Too late" The man yells as he goes to pull the trigger

You then pull your trigger. Hitting the man perfectly. He drops to the ground however the man still had his hand on the trigger. So the way he fell his reflexes tensed up causing a bullet to come out of his gun. Shooting deacon perfectly in the head. You watched all of this, some of deacons blood even splattered across your face. You fall to your knees and Chris stays silent. She watched the 2 people that she loves most go through something traumatic

"Dad! No! Please! Wake up!" You yell as you take his hand

But you know he's gone. There's no life left in him. Chris stands there in tears. You rest your head on his knee

"I'm going to make you proud and I'll be okay. I promise you I'm going to do right by our name. I miss you already dad. I love you to the moon and back" You sob

You put your jacket over your dad and kiss his forehead. You then walk out to the team with Chris hanging at the back

"Y/N, Chris?" Hondo asks as everyone looks at you

"He's gone" You say

"What? What are you taking about?" Hondo asks as he moves closer to you

"He shot him. My dads gone" You sob before falling to the ground

Chris runs over to you and wraps her arms around you. You and Chris had been dating for 1 year now and your dad loved her as much as you. The rest of the team are in tears.

*3 weeks later*

"Deacons gone! And it's all my fault!" Chris yells as she peers over the edge of the bridge

"Hey come on sweet girl. It wasn't your fault" Hondo says calmly

"He's right baby" You say through the pain

"I love you Y/N. I really do! But every day I am reminded of the pain I put upon you and the team!" Chris yells before she steps off and you run after her

"Chris!" You scream

"Don't look Baby. Don't look" Hondo says as he grabs you and covers your eyes
