After the penalty shoot out, it was the three-legged dribble. You notice Zoe grabbing Dillon, muttering "You're with me. I want an academy player on my side."
You don't know who to go with, so decide to sit the activity out. You also can't help wondering if Jethro had been here, would he have partnered up with you?
"Hey Y/n." A voice said. It was Boggy.
"Hey. What's up with you? You look so down."
He sighed. "Nancy's gone off to do the three-legged dribble with Wozza. Wozza!" He exclaims.
"So?"
"So, she obviously prefers him to me! How could I have been so stupid." He says.
You can't help but laugh. "Look Boggy, I've known Nancy and Wozza for ages, trust me: they don't fancy each other."
"But how do you know?!"
"Because she likes you! She wouldn't stop going on about you at Westfield." You try to reassure, but he suddenly looks worried again. You don't have time to ask him what's wrong for he goes off to keep score of the game.
Then you realise. Did he think you meant Nancy only liked him at Westfield? Past tense?
You sigh; relationships are too complicated.
