~Author's Note: this chapter switches between 3rd person pov (Point Of View) and 1st person pov, this will be the only chapter where i switch the pov, so please bear with this chapter i have tried to do this chapter without changing the pov but i couldn't find a better way to do so as i need to show this whole part of the story. It took me more time than i wanted but i have finally managed to buy a boat at such short notice, I start preparing the boat for sea travel.
~ Meanwhile at the museum, 3rd person pov~
The museum has just come to life and Larry is greeting Jedediah and Octavius when Ahkmenrah comes up to Larry. "Larry of Brooklyn have you seen Effie?" He asks
"Another staff member for the museum let me know that Seph won't be coming for the night shift for a week and a half because an emergency has come up" Larry answers before anyone can say anything a shadow portal appears and a pale white black shaggy haired boy wearing black clothing with skull designs and has a silver skull ring comes through the portal.
"Nico Son of Hades, cousin to Effie what brings you here" Ahkmenrah greets
~Back with Seph, 1st person pov~
I am now finished doing all the necessary checks to the boat to see if it is sea worthy and as soon as i do some repairs to the boat it will be ready to go. I need to quickly get all the parts i need then i will be able to go, I will also need to quickly buy some supplies i'm missing that i forgot to pack as i have no idea how long i will be in the sea of monsters
With that i go to a boats parts store that is still open at this time and i buy all the parts i need to make the repairs that are needed as well as a strong light source.
~back at the museum, 3rd person pov~
"Hello Ahkmenrah, I've come here to inform you about the real reason Amphy is not coming for the night shift for a week and a half not the reason she gave other staff members of the museum" Nico replies
"What is the real reason?" Larry asks
"Well that is complicated" Nico started pausing to think how to word the answer "Last night Amphy got a call from a friend of mine and hers asking her for help, that the quest our friend is on has gone horribly wrong. Amphy has gone to help our friend and has no idea when she will be back" Nico finished
"Where has Effie gone Nico?" Ahkmenrah asks
"Amphy is going to the sea of monsters" Nico answers before anyone can say anything else the room is engulfed in a bright golden light
~back with Seph, 1st person pov~
I am back with my boat and I've just finished doing all the necessary repairs to the boat, i have done one last round of doing all the checks to see if the boat is ready to go just to ensure the boat is as ready as i can make it.
I pushed the boat into the water i got into the boat, i started the engine of the boat and start making my way to the sea of monsters. Clarisse hold on i'm on my way! I hope i get there in time to help her I know that she is on the second island but how am i going to find her on the island? I am slowly getting closer to the sea of monsters though not going anywhere near as fast as i want to go to get to the sea of monsters quicker, i can't risk loosing any valuable supplies.
~back at the museum, 3rd person pov~
When the light dissipated you can see a egyptian woman with wings coming from her back and a man with the body of a human and the head of a hawk are now standing in the museum. "Why exactly is my granddaughter heading to a place egyptian gods and goddess can't go to because it is purely part of the greek gods and goddess world?" Horus asks
"Last night Amphy got a call from a friend of ours the daughter of Ares asking Amphy for help. The quest she was on has gone horribly wrong, she managed to tell Amphy what island in the sea of monsters she is on but got cut off before she could be specific. Amphy has gone to help our friend, she only told me so someone knew where she is going" Nico responds
"If she gets badly hurt in the sea of monsters us egyptian gods and goddesses can't do anything to help her as its an area we are powerless in" Isis worries
"This is not the first time Amphy has gone to the sea of monsters, she knows how to defend herself. There is a good chance of her coming back alive with some injuries but there is also a chance that she might not make it back from the sea of monsters" Nico reassures everyone in the room
"That wasn't much in reassurances but if that's the best you can do then we'll have to accept it" Larry voices
"That is the best i can do I'm not going to give any of you false hope" Nico points out
"While we can't help my granddaughter because of where she is going we can show you and us what she is doing by pulling up a viewing portal which will only let us see what she is doing" Horus exclaims
~back with Seph, 1st person pov~
I am getting closer to the sea of monsters Hang in there Clarisse!
