The Maze of Life

305 54 109

Nothing's wrong and nothing's right,
All the cards are played alright;
So why muse on what's to come,
When empty palms are the sum.

But wait a-while;
Steer to the right;
Count the numbers;
Gaze at the signs;
And begin to question,
All that's alive.

One plus one equals two,
And statistics state you can win too;
Just wait, just watch, just count it all out.

Mean, median, mode and what not -
The graph promises it all out.
But numbers my friends,
Are not necessarily your friends;
And knowing when you're right,
Is an impossible trend.

So cast a die;
Watch it fall;
Believe in yourself,
And then miserably call-
The fates out for not showing you how.

The answer lies within,
But there is no telling where;
It's one of them all,
Just can't tell which one yet.

So stumble and fall,
Till you reach the Lord,
and on your way, be tempted by all.
