LISA'S POV
"Lili, wake up! WAKE UP!" I opened my eyes and saw a little girl standing next to my bed. I couldn't make out her face, it was nothing, but a blur
"Why are you in my room?" I questioned annoyed and sat up
"I just wanted to make sure I was the first thing you see in the morning" the girl answered cheerfully with a big smile with very few teeth
"Now my eyes hurt, looking at the sight I see"
"You're such a meany head" She pouted hitting me playfully. "But I still love you" she smiled
"How'd you get into my room?" I asked
"Your mom"
"Lisa? Lisa are you still with us?"
I was woken up from my dream, thank god, by a light shining on my face. "I'm up, now get that out of my face," I said rudely
The nurse turned off the flashlight. "Sorry it's my job to make sure you're still okay and well" she just smiled
"Anyways I came in here to tell you that you're all ready to go home. You're ready to be checked out anytime before 7 o'clock today. So feel free to slowly get up and use the bathroom, while I get ahold of your parents" the nurse said and then walked out of the room
"About time" It was so disgusting laying in bed peeing through a tube. I slowly got up still feeling the pain spreading throughout my body, but I didn't care I had to use the bathroom
I walked into the bathroom slowly sat down and started peeing
Where's Red? Oh yeah I'm in the hospital
"Hello is anybody here?" I looked at the door thinking, who would even be here, but remembered Chaeyoung said her and...Jennie would be coming by, one last time before I go home
I walked out of the bathroom and straight to my bed
"Hey weirdo, how are you feeling?" She asked while plopping down on the bed next to me
"Fine, just ready to get out of this place" I answered bluntly
She laughed. "Yeah, we both miss you a lot and would feel a lot better knowing you'll finally be home too"
I looked at Chaeyoung then at the girl, Jennie
"So Jennie, why do you love me?" I asked with a blank face in an impulsive tone
Her cheeks reddened, I don't know why, and her eyes widened as she looked at Chaeyoung and then me
"Umm, I don't think it's the best time for me to tell you right now" she smiled nervously
"Okay"
We continued talking for a while until my parents got here to take me home. Throughout our whole conversation, I couldn't help but look at Jennie feeling curious. She's not that bad-looking. But if she knows I don't remember her, how come she still hangs around? But still, the more I look at her the more I feel like I do know her
I pushed the thought aside, mostly because I hate thinking about things that cause me problems. It's probably just because people told me that we knew each other before I got mugged. That reminds me
"Did anyone ever get my art supplies, the night I was mugged?" I asked. They both looked at each other
"I think the cops collected them and kept them as evidence" Jennie answered
"Which reminds me," Chaeyoung said getting up. "Have the cops even been trying to find out who did this to you?" She asked looking at me and Jennie
Jennie shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know, probably?"
"Well if they are they're doing a shit job" Chaeyoung replied getting angry
Hey, I guessed it right this time. I usually get angry and happy mixed up, but not this time
"I guess that's what happens when you're in a town with a bunch of lazy cops" Jennie sighed
"You know what? I'm gonna figure out who did this to you" Chaeyoung said looking at me with a serious face
"Me too" Jennie added getting up. "I want to make sure whoever did this to you doesn't get away with it"
I looked at them sitting up to change into my clothes that were folded on my bed, left from last night when my parents came by
"Why does it matter? I mean I probably deserved whoever did this to me"
They looked at me with mouths open, probably surprised
"No one deserved that. Especially you" Jennie glared at me
I sighed. "Whatever. Can you two turn around while I change?" I asked. They nodded their heads and turned around
I began slowly changing out of my hospital gown into a pair of jeans and long sleeve t-shirt
It's kinda hard changing with just one eye
I was struggling to put my jeans on. Putting my shirt on wasn't this hard. I finally got my right leg in, but when I began putting my other leg through the hole I felt myself slip off the bed. Here comes the pain, once I hit the floor
"Gotcha!" I looked up to my left and saw Jennie standing there holding me
"I told you not to look at me" I spat out
Jennie just smiled. "It's a good thing I did or you would've hurt yourself"
"Wait what happened?" Chaeyoung asked turning around and looking at us. "Why are you guys like that?"
Jennie looked at her smiling. "She almost fell, but I caught her just in time before she did"
I just looked at her, she's right, but she's still a pervert. "You can let me go prevent"
"Yeah" Chaeyoung agreed while walking toward us and helping me up
Jennie just smiled. "You're such a meany head, Lisayah" I turned and looked at her
Why do I feel like I've heard those words before?
"Honey ready to go home?" My mom asked barging into the room but stopped. "Am I interrupted something?" She asked again looking at us
Why would she think she's interrupted something?
She shook her head. "It's just me taking you home since your dad is working, so ready to go?" I button my jeans and walked out of the door
"Okay, I guess we're leaving then. See y'all later!" My mom said waving to Chaeyoung and Jennie
"See you at school!" Chaeyoung shouted
"You could've said bye to them you know. They care about you" My mom whispered
I looked at my mom. "Okay and I care why?"
She lifted her hands. "I'm just saying" she sighed
