The life of Ayla Hale had never exactly gone to plan. To be fair, her whole existence hadn't exactly gone with the plan. But she had always had her family. Her overbearing mother and grandmother, her aunt and uncle who always acted more like her siblings than her actual aunt and uncle, and everyone else that she knew would always be there for her. Or at least she thought they would always be there for her.
Then the fire happened and suddenly the majority of them were gone. But even then she still had her parents- even if her father wasn't exactly the most reliable- and her uncle. She had them to help her during the first full moon, and make her feel like she would never end up alone. And everything was going well, until her mother went back to Beacon Hills.
