Chapter 13

-Amaras pov-

Henry and I were mortified.

Jerneil just ran away. She just left. I ran to the room Ray was in then set him free.

"Boy was that a hard mission or what" I asked.

"Actually that was one of the easiest ones" henry chuckled.

"Oh gawd" I sighed but then laughed.

We were all happy to be done with this mission.

"So, Ray I'm aloud to stay at your place" I questioned.

"Yep" he smiled.

-Henrys pov-

I still like Amara. I need to talk to her privately... about us.

"Hey Amara can I talk to you privately" I asked.

"Sure" she smiled.

Amara and I let Ray go home without us.

"So what is it" she asked.

"I was wondering if you'd take me back" I answered.

Amara looked down to her feet, then looked back up to meet my eyes.

"I don't know how I feel right now, maybe later on. Everything has and still is confusing to me." she sighed.

"It's okay, I can wait" I smiled, then kissed her forehead.

I started walking back to my place and she caught up to Ray.

I have no clue how to react to this.

-Amaras pov-

I caught up to Ray. I got lost in my thoughts as Ray and I walked though. What if I ruined my chances with Henry... what if he's mad?
