A/N: I'm thinking past Texas, like horseback riding and older country music
Y/N leaned against the railing on the front porch, staring into space. "Howdy partner. Fine weather we're having." Y/N snapped out of his trance and looked up to see Texas sitting on a horse, he was wearing black cowboy hat, a flannel, and some faded blue jeans. He blocked the sun with his body which gave him a sort of angelic-like glow. He had golden brown eyes and almost black hair, "Partner?"
Y/N realized he had went back into a dream like state, "Oh, hey Texas! Sorry."
He smiled and hopped off his horse, "That's alright." Texas tied up his horse to one of the posts, "You seemed to be deep in thought. What were ya thinking about?"
They started to walk in a random direction, "Eh nothing much."
Texas nudged Y/N, "Oh come on, we're friends right?" a smile on his face as his eyes were trained on Y/N.
Y/N chuckled a little, "Y-yeah, friends...." his eyes hit the ground. Texas looked at Y/N, he could sense something wrong, so he stopped walking.
Y/N turned around and looked at him, "What?"
"Tell me what's on your mind Poppy."
Y/N rolled his eyes, "I told you nothing, nothing is on my mind." he started to get aggravated, why wouldn't Texas just drop it.
Texas stepped closer to Y/N, using a smaller voice "Please tell me." Y/N's face started to soften but kept a poker pace, he stepped closer, "Come on, please tell me." Y/N could feel his walls breaking down, he had it bad for the cowboy.
Texas stepped towards Y/N again, being only a few inches away from each other. Y/N could feel the heat radiating of his body. Texas bent down towards Y/N, letting his hot breath fan over his ear, "Darling~ You know you want to tell me."
Y/N shuddered and blurted out, "I-i can't stop thinking about you."
Y/N felt Texas smirk against his ear before hugging him, "Was that so hard Poppy?" Y/N hugged back and nodded into his chest, Texas chuckled, "I can't stop thinking about you either Y/N." Texas rested his chin on top of Y/N's head, they stood like that for a while until the sky began to turn an array of oranges and reds. They decided to head back towards Y/N's house.
The sun was about half down when they made it back to the house, "Hey Y/N"
Texas untied his horse, "Yes Texas?"
Texas grabbed Y/N's wrist and pulled him towards his chest, "I love you." Texas pressed his lips against Y/N's before he could even get a word out. His fingers dancing along the back of his friend's spine.
They pulled apart eventually, "I love you too."
Texas hopped onto his horse and smiled, "I'll be back tomorrow, okay?"
Y/N smiled, whispering an, "Okay." and then Texas rode away.
