Klaus decided to go drink alone, something he used to do a lot before Caroline appeared in his life and would tag along with him.

Klaus kept thinking about the game and how Kol implying a little thing about his relationship with Caroline was enough to get Klaus off his game. 

He was drinking bourbon when he suddenly saw his younger brother, Kol and the rest of the fire department walking to the stage where people would go karaoke.

"Hello everyone! We are part of the fire department and we are here to celebrate our win against the police department, which was well deserved." Kol said, smirking at Klaus, then the firefighters started to sing 'we are the champions by Queen' and Kol changed a little of the chorus.

And we'll keep on fighting till the end

After the firefighters stopped singing, Kol winked at Klaus because Kol loved when he was able to win a game against Klaus, he didn't admit it but the real reason he bickered and was somewhat competitive with Klaus was because he felt that was te way to make Klaus see that Kol wasn't just the childish younger brother Klaus had and that Klaus should be proud of him. Kol always felt jealous of how close Klaus was with Elijah and how Klaus would always go to Elijah when it came to serious stuff and felt only seen when Klaus would want to party, which could be fun but Kol wanted to make his brother see there was more to him than just a man who likes to party and jokes around.

When he saw Klaus leave, Kol left too and they both went home quickly bickering again about what was the most important profession, if it would be being a cop or a firefighter. One thing the two of them didn't realized as they got home was that they were being too loud and had awaken Rebekah and Elijah.

"What the bloody hell is going on?" Rebekah asked in a sleepy voice and an annoyed look as she walked over to the entrance of the house.

"What's with all the noise?" Elijah asked as he walked over to his siblings, making everyone look at him in confusion.

"What the bloody hell are you wearing?" Klaus asked without believing his eyes.

"Is that a dress?" Kol asked after taking a picture of Elijah in a nightgown.

"Are you thinking about transitioning? What will be your name? Danielle is a good name. This will be so much fun. I always wanted a sister." Rebekah said.

"What? This is a nightshirt. It's a very comfortable piece of clothing to wear when one goes to sleep."

"Whatever you say, Ebenezer Scrooge." Klaus said.

"Oh! That's who he was reminding me of." Rebekah says as she realized why that look was familiar to her.

"It's too late for this. Now stop with all the noise. We all have to go to work in the morning, so let's go get our needed sleep or do I need to tell you all over again how the lack of sleep can have a negative impact on..." Elijah started to say, making his siblings look annoyed.

"We are going." Rebekah said and they started to walk away.

"Give my best to Bob Cratchit." Kol said, making Klaus and Rebekah laugh softly as they went on their separate ways to their bedrooms.

Elijah was now seeing a new patient that had been in a big accident, which made him have a significant trauma in the level of the knee, had major tissue damage and had a missing part of his distal femur, which meant he had to operate right away. Elijah suggested the patient to let him do a Van Ness rotationplasty, meaning he would amputate the patient's leg, rotate it 180 degrees and then re-attach it, making his working ankle the knee, giving also a little prostatic so he could run, jump and keep working.

*At the OR*

Elijah was rubbing in when Elena walked over to him.

"There he is! The man of the hour. I can't believe you convinced the head of plastic surgery to let you do a Van Ness rotationplasty on an adult." Elena said with a smile but then noticed he wasn't very excited. "Wait. What's going on?"

"Well, because I convinced the head of plastic surgery to do this... now I have to do this."

"Yeah... that's usual how it goes." Elena said.

"He has 24 years old. He has his entire life ahead of him. I can't screw this up."

"Hey! You are Doctor Elijah Mikaelson. You are one of the best doctors we have. You won't screw this up. He is lucky to have you as his doctor." Elena said.

"You can always cheer me up, Elena." Elijah said with a smile.

As they started the operation, Elijah couldn't help but notice many people were watching his surgeory.

"I see today we have a full house." Elijah said as he tried to not feel even more pressured into doing everything right.

"It's what happens when a doctor decided to do Diva surgeries." One of the doctors said.

"I should charge admission." Elijah jokes, making Elena smile.

"Stage fright?" The doctor asked.

"Please. That's for amateurs." Elijah said.

Elena and Elijah were now preparing to go home but Elena decided to stop him.

"Elijah, we just did an incredibly risky surgery where everything went perfectly well. What do you say about us going have a drink."

"That sounds a great idea, Dr. Gilbert." Elijah said with a smile.

"Thank you so much, Dr. Mikaelson."

AN: Hey guys! I hope you liked this chapter. I enjoyed writing the Kol annoying Klaus and having also Klaus, Kol and Rebekah making fun of what Elijah wore to go to sleep. And I know about couples this had just Elejah but next chapter I promise you will have Elejah, Klaroline and Stebekah and it will be with them off work ;)
