Capitolo 05

Deanna's POV

A FEW WEEKS AGO

"We will have a Class Captain, Co-captain, treasurer and counselors." Ma'am Daisy shouted inside our class room.

"And I want Ae Zampieri to be Captain. Does anyone object?" Ma'am Daisy calmly asked us when Ae suddenly raised his hand.

"Me. I don't think I'm a suit for that position, Ma'am." Ae suddenly said.

"Are you sure? Ikaw pa naman yung pinakamahusay sa klase." Ma'am Daisy said in feeling of loss tone.

Hindi sumagot si Ae kaya biglang chismosang kapitbahay, bumulong ako sa kanya.

"Perché ti sei rifiutato di essere il capitano della classe?" I whisperedly asked so Ae immediately whispered at me too. (Translation in English: Why did you refuse to be the captain of the class?)

"It's too troublesome." Ae quickly answered.

"Totoo. Palakopya ka ng homework eh, palaaway pa. Tsaka mahilig ka din matulog sa klase. Do you think Ae can manage you?" Cian suddenly said so I immediately looked at him very badly.

"Nahiya sa nagsalita." I annoyedly complained when Beatriz suddenly spoke.

"Ae, if you were the Class Captain and Isabel were Co-captain, you two must cooperative pretty well. Come on, it's not too late for you to change your answer." Beatriz suddenly said to Ae.

"True. You and Isabel suit for this position." Katrina suddenly agreed.

"Hindi naman." I dowel so everyone looked at me.

"Ano nanaman? Hindi naman talaga bagay sila Ae at Isabel. Ano 'yun, handsome and the frog?" I annoyedly complained.

A FEW MINUTES LATER

"Deanna!" Pasigaw ni Ma'am Daisy kaya naupo ako agad ng maayos. Favorite na favorite niya talaga ako. Hays.

"Ma'am, nandito lang ako. Wala ako sa kabilang section." i complained hahaha.

"Ikaw lang yung walang sinalihang activities,  this nutrition month, so I order you to buy vegetables for Katrina to cook." Ma'am Daisy commanded.

"No problem, Ma'am. Paki bigay na lang po yung pera sakin." I said with a smile. Wala akong pera pang libre no.

Pagkatapos ng klase ni Ma'am ay Filipino subject na. Ang tagal naman ng oras inaantok na ko.

"Deanna, do you have correction tape?" Ae suddenly asked me so I immediately raised my brow and ignore him. Bagay pala aaa. Ae and Isabel bagay. Bagay niyo muka niya.

"Deanna, non mi hai sentito?" Ae asked me again. (Translation in English: Deanna, didn't you hear me?)

"Prendi in prestito il nastro correttivo dalla tua ragazza." I complained and rolled my eyes. (Translation in English: Borrow corrective tape from your girlfriend.)

"Di cosa stai parlando?" Ae confusedly asked. (Translation in English: What are you talking about?)

"Bagay kayo diba? Ikaw at yung feelingerang 'yun. Bagay." I said and smile fakely at him. DUh.

"Sei geloso?" Ae suddenly asked and smiled sideways so I immediately looked at him disgustedly. What the fuck. Ew. (Translation in English: You're jealous?)

"Daydreaming." I annoyedly complained and rolled my eyes.

Pagkalipas ng ilang oras, tapos na yung klase namin. Kaya habang inaayos ko yung bag ko, kinausap ko si Alyja.

"Mamaya kana umuwi. Samahan mo muna ko sa supermarket." I order.

"Okay." Alyja agreed while nodded.

I was looking for the money, but I couldn't find it so I was immediately feel nervous.

"Shit. Alyja....." I don't know what to do!

"Oh?" Alyja asked without looking at me.

"I think..... I lost my money." I slowly said so she immediately faced me.

"Ha? Bruha ka, baka nasa bag mo lang 'yun. Hanapin mo ulit." Utos ni Alyja pero wala talaga eh. Tatlong beses ko ng chineck yung bag ko.

"Hanapin na lang natin." Alyja suggested so I immediately nodded and we left the classroom immediately.

I went to the all Restroom and Canteen while Alyja was in the Hallway and Field.

A few minutes after we searched, Alyja and I met on the stairs. Hingal na hingal na kami. Gosh. Bobo-bobo mo kasi, Deanna.

"Nahanap mo na ba?" Hinihingal na tanong sakin ni Alyja.

"Nothing found." Nakabusangot kong sagot.

"What should we do?" Walang gana kong tanong. Wala pa naman akong pampaluwal.

"Let's search it one more time." Alyja said to me and walked down the stairs, I breathed first before walking when Ae suddenly walked so I walked up the stairs. Iniiwasan ko 'tong malanding 'to.

As I was walking Ae suddenly spoke so I immediately stopped.

"You lost the money?" Ae asked me calmly so I immediately faced him.

"Hindi aaa!" I shouted so he nodded and started walking but when he passed by me I immediately grabbed his arm.

"Ae, l'ho fatto." I said in a sad tone and gave him a sad face. (Translation in English: Ae, I did.)

We went to the bench to sit down and to talk about the missing money. Hays.

"Come l'hai perso?" Ae suddenly asked me. (Translation in English: How did you lose it?)

"Hindi ko alam." I annoyed in myself and messed up my hair.

"When was the last time you saw it?" Ae asked me again.

"I can't remember." I answered and looked at Ae sadly.

"I have a question, what do you do when I’m not by your side?" Ae suddenly asked without being connected to money.

"I will go, wherever you go." Sagot ko habang pinaglalaruan yung kamay niya. Totoo naman 'yun, nag-aral siya dito sa pinas kaya nag-aral din ako dito. Haha.

Ae suddenly fixed my hair so I just looked at her who was smiling at me.

"You dropped the money in your pocket as you and Alyja walked by. And you're lucky because I saw your money... Stupid." Naka-ngiting sabi ni Ae at bigla akong pinitik sa noo.

Aaa! Naalala ko na! Naguusap kami ni Alyja nun about sa mga naglalandian sa school hahaha.

Ae took the money out of her pocket and put it in my hand. Sa sobrang tuwa ko, tumayo ako at hinalikan yung buhok niya. Ang bango no shampoo niya. Hahaha.

"I love you talaga, you're the best." I happily said so he pushed me. Hahaha.

"Non baciarmi, non ti lavi spesso i denti." Ae complained so I immediately smacked him. (Translation in English: Don't kiss me, you don't brush your teeth often.)

"Bastardo!" I giggled and immediately sat down. (Translation in English: Bastard!)

"Ma ti amo." I giggled again and hugged his arm. Hahaha. (Translation in English: But I love you.)

"Stai lontano da me, stupido. Non ti amo." Ae complained. Hahaha. (Translation in English: Stay away from me, stupid. I don't love you.)
