Deanna's POV

"Happy New Year!"

We all shouted at the same time. It's already January. I jumped because joy. Isang taon nanaman yung nakalipas. Gosh. Ae and I were on the balcony watching the fireworks while my other cousins, aunties and uncles were downstairs and lighting the fireworks. Everything that happens in the world is exciting especially when you are with the people you love.

Woohoo. Sobrang laming. Grr. Even though I was already wearing a sweater and puffer jacket I was still chilling.

"Happy New Year, Ae!" I happily greet Ae who's standing behind me with his hands in his pockets.

"Happy New Year, Ali." Ae slowly greet me with a smile. I... Love his smile.

"Huh? Who's Ali? I'm Deanna. Is she your mistress?" I joked so he giggled. For the first time napatawa na kita haha.

"Haha. No, Ali means..... Akin Lang Ikaw." Biglang bumilis ang tibok ng aking puso at tila bang bumabagal ang pag-ikot ng mundo. Sobrang lalim ng sinasabi ko, kasing lalim ng pagmamahal ko sa kanya. Hahaha charot. Kahit kailan talaga panira ako.

Tumawa ako ng marahan kasabay ng paghampas ko sa kanyang braso, "Baliw. Ang corny mo. Hahaha."

Tagalog 'yan para dama kaso bida-bida ako. Hindi ko talaga alam pa'no yung moment eh. Hahaha.

I just smiled at Ae and went down to the living room to greet my family. The first person I approached was my beloved Noona.

"Buon anno, Nonna!" I greet my Grandma and give her a lot of kisses. I love you so much, Noona!

"Buon anna! Anche tu, Deanna." Nonna happily said and hugged me very tightly.

"Happy New Year, Tita!"

"Happy New Year, Tito!"

"Happy New Year, babies!"

"Happy New Year, my dear Papa!"

"Buon anna, Zio Antonio!"

I greet them all and give them a warm hug. I hope we are always this happy. I'm just always here for you all.

"Happy New Year, Tita Adele!" I happily greet my mother-in-law. No, Ae's mother and give her my warm hug. Haha.

"Call me Mamma now." Tita Adele lovely said so I let go of her hug because I was surprised by what she said.

"Po?" I absent-minded said.

"Ali." Tita Adele giggled so I immediately covered my mouth out of shock and out of embarrassment as well.

"Hala, Tita! Narinig niyo po 'yon?!" I shyly screamed so Tita Adele just laughed. Gosh. This is really crazy.

While I was talking to Tita Adele my phone suddenly rang so I immediately looked at the notifications. It's a message from Ricci, Alyja and Cian. They asked me how's my New Year here haha.

Habang nagta-type ako. Biglang sumigaw yung ususerang frog kong cousin kaya akala ko kung anong nangyari sa kanya kaya tinignan ko siya agad. I was surprised because she was screaming because Ae was walking towards me while carrying a gift.

Walang sinabing kahit ano sakin si Ae basta binigay niya lang sakin yung Balenciaga na paper bag. Wow. Why you're so rich?!

"Thank you, Ae." I happily thanked. I was suddenly ashamed of Ae because of the way my family looked at me. Gosh. Haha.

"How sweet! Haha. That's my son! Ayiie." Hindi naman po kayong halatang supportive, Tita? Haha. Grabe.

"Happy New Year." Ae greet me again in the modest tone. Gosh.

"Haha. Sana all may pa Balenciaga." Hirit ng ususerang frog kong cousin haha.
