Deanna's POV

I went to Italy alone. I'm only 16 years old but I am used to traveling from the Philippines to Italy. That's why I think I'm independent enough hahaha. 18 hours and 25 minutes in plane and then 5 hours and 21 minutes in taxis hahaha. I left at 6 AM and I arrived at 10 PM. I don't have any clothes because I have clothes at home. And I only carried one travel bag at puro pasalubong pa yung laman from Philippines. Sobrang saya ko. Gosh. Umuulan kasi ng snow ngayon pero hindi pa ganun kalakas pero may snow na. Ibang-iba talaga yung climate ng Italy sa Philippines. Hahaha.

Kung hinahanap niyo si Ae, heto na. We are neighbors here too. my house and his house are next to each other and there is another door that leads to their living room and our kitchen. Ewan ko sa mga Tatay namin. Friendship goals, magkasama na sa company, magkasama pa sa bahay. Ba't hindi na lang sila naging mag-asawa? Joke lang, kung hindi nila pinakasalan yung mga Mamma namin edi walang shawty na Deanna ngayon at Ae ngayon. Sobrang liwanag ng bahay namin. I'm excited to see my family. Pagpasok ko sinalubong nila kong lahat na parang alam nila na papasok ako ng pintuan.

After we hugged each other I entered our living room and I saw Ae leaning on the table of our dinning table. Sila Ae, almost 3 days na silang nauna dito. Yung Mamma ko kasi parang kinalimutan na ko sa pilipinas. I approached Ae to do a beso. I touched his back and he touched my waist. Parang hindi nagkita sa pinas aaa. Hahaha. Hindi naman kami rich pero si Papa kasi hard-working. Yung bahay namin dito, hindi ko alam kung bahay ba talaga o ampunan kasi tignan mo nagkasya kami dito. Both side ng families ko nandito, si Mamma kasi dinala niya na ata buong angkan niya dito. Joke lang, helpful talaga si Mamma kahit bungangera. Tinutulungan niya isa-isa yung relatives niya. Yung iba este, halos lahat na ata nakuha niya from pinas. Hindi ko nga alam baka ako na lang natitira sa pilipinas eh. Pinagkukuha na kasi ni Mamma angkan niya. Sila Ae naman, kung ano kinalaki ng angkan ko, kinaliit naman ng family niya. Kasama kasi namin sila mag-celebrate kasi yung family nila Ae is nasa Milan pa and that's kinda far from our house.

"Deanna, Merry Christmas."

"Maligayang pasko!"

"Merry Christmas!"

I was surprised because my family suddenly gave me a gift one by one. All my uncles and aunts gave me gifts because they rarely see me. Hala, hindi ko kayang uuwi ng pinas 'to. Hahaha. I was sitting on the sofa next to my grandma who was 84 years old. She was happy to see me and I was also happy to see her.

Ibang-iba talaga yung happiness ko ngayon. Yung inuupuan namin ni Nonna halos mapuno na ng gift kaya nilagay ko muna sila sa floor. Tumayo ako sandali para lapitan yung minamahal ko na Papa.

"Pa, dove sono I regali di cui vi ho parlato per I miei cugini e nipoti?" I said with a smile to my Papa. (Translation to English: Pa, where are the gifts I told you about for my cousins ​​and nephews/nieces.)

"Oh. Porterò I tuoi regali nella tua stanza." Papa answered and went to my room para kunin yung mga gift na pinabili ko sa kanya. Actually, hindi ko pera 'yon. Pera ni Papa hahaha. Nahihiya kasi ako kung wala akong ibibigay sa kanila lalo na minsan lang kami magkita kaya bago talaga ako pumunta dito, inungutan ko na si Papa. Pagbaba ni Papa, nilagay na namin yung mga gift sa Christmas Tree. May mga pangalan naman 'yan kaya basahin niyo na lang. Tinatamad ako eh hahaha.

After I arrange the presents at the chin of the Christmas Tree, I stood up. I was surprised because Ae was behind me while holding three bouquets. I just smiled at him so he gave me flowers. Ae also gave a bouquet to Mamma Sylvia and Tita Adele. While I was looking at Ae, Tita Adele was staring at me so I immediately covered my face with the bouquet. I'm shy. She might say I'm busing. Hahaha.

I just laughed and went to Nonna, my grandma, who was sitting on the sofa while playing with her grandchildren. I miss my Papa's Mom, my Nonna, every weekend she always calls me thru video call.

"Nonna, hai mangiato?" I asked her with a high pitch tone. Medyo mahina na kasi hearing niya. (Translation to English: Grandma, have you eaten?)

"Si, ho finito. dovresti mangiare adesso, hai viaggiato per quasi 23 ore." My Nonna's answered. Aww that's so sweet. (Translation on English: Yes I have finished. you should eat now, you have been traveling for almost 23 hours.)

"Okay, Nonna. Mangerò prima, mamaya na po tayong magchismisan." I giggled and stood up. (Translation on English: I'll eat first.)

There's pasta, bread, vegetables, meat, cake, chocolate and lots of dessert. Ae approached me to give me a plate so I took it immediately. I saw that there were two plates he was holding so I asked him.

"Hindi ka pa kumakain?" I asked Ae while I raised my brow at him. His face was emotionless, as always.

"Nah, why did you just come now?" Is he complaining or worrying? Tumayo ako ng maayos at tinignan siya sa mata.

"Hoy, anong akala mo sa Italy at pilipinas? Isang bus lang na parang tuwing papasok ka ng school? Kung makapag-salita ka parang hindi ka nagpapabalik-balik ng dalawang bansa." I was annoyed and took the tong to get pasta. I haven't been able to get it yet when Ae suddenly spoke again.

"Bilisan mo nga." Ae yelped again so I closed my eyes first before facing him.

"Manahimik ka." Nanggigigil kong sabi sa kanya habang tinututok yung tong sa ilong niya. Shut up. You have studied all the books but you have not yet learned how to shut your mouth.

I'm eating now. Ae and I sat side by side while eating. I was laughing because I was watching my baby cousin dance. The fun is really different when you are with your family. Ae was smiling as she watched my cousin. Ae is smiling? Crush niya ba yung pinsan ko? Joke lang hahaha.

"Napaka cute naman ng batang iyan!" Sigaw ko kahit I know hindi niya ko naiintindihan. She's Italian baby. Sa Philippines kasi 'yan yung sinasabi kapag nakakakita ng cute baby hahaha.

After ng kalahating oras is finally Christmas, kaya lumabas kaming lahat para panuorin yung fireworks. Author didn't said what happened next because it was my family time. I just keep to myself the happiness I feel. Merry Christmas! *smiled*
