"Y/n what can I do for you?" Pope asked the girl.
"Uh actually I- my dad sent me to tell your dad that uh we are having a cookout and he wants you all to come." She smiled
"Oh um okay I'll let him know when is it?" Pope asked
"Tonight"she fiddled with her hands.
"Alright see you tonight." Pope said
"And you can bring your friends if you want." She said

Hers and popes dad down business together well like partners. She moved her recently and didn't really have friends. She hung out with the pogues like twice. She had a crush starting to form on pope. Not JJ not John b Pope. She wasn't exactly a kook. She lived in figure eight though.

"Hey hun how'd it go?" Her dad asked
"Pope said he'd tell his dad." She said
"Alrighty" her dad smiled
"Love you" she smiled
"Love you too" her dad said

"Hey pope" she smiled at the boy.
"Hi" pope looked at his shoes nervously.
"Wanna go to the roof?" She asked
"Sure" he shrugged
"Dad we're going to the roof!" She said loud enough for her dad to hear her.

They sat on the roof looking at the sky.
"Y/n why don't you hangout with anyone like ever?" Pope asked
"Oh what you stalking me now?" She laughed
"No I just I've never seen you hangout with anyone. Like Sarah,Rafe,topper or anyone." Pope said
"No offense like I think you're cool. Like really cool." Pope added
"Eh no one ever talks to me plus I prefer people who aren't rude and actually like me. Rafe and his sister aren't really people i'd he friends with." She laughed
"You can always hang out with me and the others." Pope said

Downstairs at the cookout*
"Hey dude where's pope?" JJ asked John b
"He went off with that girl y/n." John b grinned
"Do you think he's getting laid?" JJ asked
"Ew" Kiara laughed
"I don't know maybe" John b shrugged

"JJ seems... fun." She laughed
"Yea you could say that." Pope laughed
"Pope I think your really cool too." She smiled
Pope smiled "why thank you"
"Let's go back down there. I'm pretty sure your friends think I killed you or something." She said
"Well JJ probably doesn't but sure." Pope laughed

JJ grinned as he saw pope and her walk outside together.
"Hey pope" JJ smiled
"Hey?" pope furrowed his eyebrows together.
"Y/n you should hangout with us more." Kiara smiled
"Really I mean yea that'd be cool." She tried hiding her smile.
"Yea you know where I live so you can just come by anytime." John b said
"And if you ever need anything like anything just stop." Pope smiled
"Yea I will" she smiled
Kiara nudged JJ to look at the two instead of looking at y/n's mom.
"Is Jj looking at my mom's ass?" She asked pope quietly.
"Probably" pope whispered back

They all played with water guns. She let Kiara use one of her bathing suits and they swam in the pool. Of course the boys just got in their boxers except pope. Pope now he sat by the pool watching everyone else swim. "Pope cmon get in" she grabbed his hand.
"Bro cmon" JJ laughed splashing John b.
"Please pope they're killing me." She whined
"Fine I'll be back where's your bathroom?" He asked
She pulled herself out of the pool. "I'll show you" she wrapped a towel around her.
He followed her to her bathroom.

"Here it is" she smiled
"Thanks"

Pope came out a few minutes later. She tried not to look at him but she couldn't help looking him up and down.
"Sorry I didn't mean to stare" she mumbled
"It's ok" pope blushed

"Hey losers we're back" she jumped in followed by pope jumping in.
She smiled at him.

The cookout was over which meant they had to leave.
"Bye guys" she gave them all a hug.
"Bye y/n" pope said
They all started walking towards Twinkie. "Pope dude go ask her out." JJ said
"No no she doesn't like me" pope said
"Yes she does" Kiara said
"Go now" John b pushed pope back towards the girl.
"Uh hey" pope said smiling
"Hi you good" she laughed a little.
"I actually wanted to know if you'd like to maybe go out sometime. Like at the wreck and hangout." He said
"Yea of course I'd love too!" She smiled
"Okay uh cool" pope started to walk away before turning back and pulling her to him.
His lips touched hers.
Then he turned back around to walk away.
"Saturday by the way!" He smiled
"Cool it's a date then." She grinned
