Fire

It bothers me when I'm asked to stop countering any idea.
I didn't ask for an argument.
I am speaking out my mind.
You will never need to ask for my opinion,
I will say my piece nevertheless.
I will resist something not my cup of tea.
But if I try for you, you must be special.
I dedicate my time to something worthwhile.
If I am still holding a conversation with you,
You must have value.
I have been through worse.
I would see what's passing and which one lasts,
yet again, if I give you the chance,
You must be something special.
I don't do double takes.
I spitfire.
My words got embers and my ash always got my name on it.
I leave a trail. I weren't coward to admit my footprint.
If you want to hold up,
Keep up your words and actions.
I can actually be hot and cold.
But I knew too, tomorrow is not promised.
If I wanted to hold your hand now,
That must be not because I were afraid,
It must be because you can bring about the best in me.
If fire burns you,
That's just not me you need.
I can't smoke up just for a one-time high.
I don't flame up for casual.
I burn up until the tips of my shadow appear and my fire blazes in surreal lusters.
My flame, I am fire;
Blow me up,
Blow me down.
I am here for the marking;
Yours for the taking.
