If only thoughts just die down on their own.
Or feelings stay at bay doing anything but commotion.
If only we see the deeper worth of things,
Or why the sky is beyond that horizon.
If only the moon could only shine on its own
And the stars just remain without falling,
Without dying or without any waning..
If life is just as simple as counting 1, 2, 3.
If love is limited to mere existence of mutual understanding..
If only looking at the setting sun doesn't provoke unspoken, unthwarted, unwavering, perpetuated
perceptions, emotions, dreams and memories..
I wouldn't be here, at the helm of my reverie.
With nothing short of the unspoken,
Yes, she speaks,
But whoever is there to listen?
If only..
If only destiny is at the tip of this pen..
I would press a dot and another one,
It would be nice seeing you next to me.
At least on my orchestrated plight
You're there, reigning my sight..
enough to tame this terrified heart.
