Chapter 9

Damian was the first to wake up but he just lay there afraid to move incase he woke up Jon, but the quiet didn't last long as Jon's alarm went off

"Morning Dami" Jon said still groggy from being asleep

"Morning beloved, you better get ready for school don't want you to be late" Damian replied

With that Jon got up to shower and Damian headed downstairs to help Lois make the breakfast which is what he's been doing to help out since he arrived. When Jon came down the stairs he saw an envelope addressed to "The Kents"

"Mom, Dad there is a letter here for us" Jon shouted

"Bring it in here to me Jon" Lois called out to him

Jon walked in and before handing the envelope to his mother Damian said "It's from Alfred, I'd recognise that handwriting anywhere, it's probably about the Gala next Friday"

Jon looked at Damian "There is no way you got that from an envelope"

"Jon honey he's right we have all been invited and we can bring a plus one, it's masquerade aswell" Lois replied

"So are we going" Clark asked from the table

"Of course we are Mr.Kent" Damian said

At this point Jon and Lois copped on to how Damian was going to return he was going to crash the Gala.

12:45
"Hey Jon" Cassie said walking across the hall to where Jon was standing

"How are you and lover boy wonder getting on" she teased

"We are doing great Cassie, quick question were you invited to the Gala?" Jon responded

"As a matter of fact yes I was, were you" Cassie replied

"Yeah I was, I feel like Bruce has something planned and Damian wants to go aswell" he replied with worry

"Don't sweat it Bruce is always planning something whether others like it or not." Cassie said reassuring her friend

"I guess your right like always" Jon said laughing.

13:00-Fortress of Attitude
Damian had gotten bored of waiting around for someone to arrive home so he came down to the old hideout to start practicing. He was in full concentration in the V.R room like the one in Titans Tower when heard

"Recognised Batman JL-01, Nightwing RN-01, Red Robin RN-03" Damian quickly turned the lights and simulation off and hid.

"I got reports of unauthorised activity in here fan out and search for intruders" Batman ordered

The three split up Batman remained in the central hub while Nightwing came into the training room and Red Robin into the armoury

"Batman, Nightwing I know where that League member got that Robin uniform Damian's isn't here anymore" Red Robin reported

Bruce and Dick swiftly made their way to the armoury and saw that it was in fact gone

"Clark, come in Clark" Bruce said over the comms

"Yeah what is it Bruce I'm collecting Jon and Cassie from school because it's a half day" Clark responded

"I need you in the old Supersons HQ and I need Jon and Cassie as well, Batman out" Bruce ordered Clark.

10 minutes had past until "Recognised JL-02, SB-02, WG-02" as Clark, Jon and Cassie entered the fortress. Jon quickly scanned around with his x-ray vision he saw Batman, Nightwing and Red Robin in the armoury and then he say Damian in the training room hiding in the rafters

"Dad, we may have a problem, Damians here" Jon said

Clark just nodded as they continued toward Bruce and the others

"Hi Bruce, how can we help" Clark asked

"You can't but they can" he responded coldly pointing at the teens

"How can we help Mister Wayne" Cassie asked, Jon just stood there trying not to look worried

"Can either of you, tell me where his Robin uniform has gone" he asked staring into Jon's soul

"No we can't we haven't been down here in years" Cassie piped up slightly offended

"Jonathan is that true?" Bruce questioned, Jon looked up with sad eye "Yes, yes it is" he said back.

With that Bruce said into his gauntlet "Shut Down Morrison Bay, authorisation Batman"

All lights and computer started shutting off as the group of heroes left leaving Damian in the dark

"Why would you shut it down" Jon screamed at Bruce close to tears

"It's not like it's in use anymore and I'm pretty sure the Supersons aren't in business anymore unless there is something I don't know" Bruce said with a snarky tone

"But what if we need it again, what about when Damian returns" Jon cried at Bruce

"I'm sorry Jon he is never coming back and we will never need this place again" Bruce said walking away from the upset boy.

The Kent residence 23:30
Jon was worried because Damian hadn't returned and he knew Bruce would know if he went back for him so he went to bed, he was woken up by a tapping noise he turned to his window to see a soaked Damian sitting on the tree

"Are you going to let me in" Damian questioned the boy

Jon shot up out of bed and opened the window he went to give Damian a hug but was stopped

"I need to dry off first beloved, don't want to catch a cold now do we" he said as he went to fetch a towel

Jon got back into bed and was almost asleep when Damian crawled into the bed Jon looked into the boys emerald eyes "cuddles" he asked like a child, "cuddles" Damian sighed cuddling up against his beloved.
