Chapter 37

Himalayas 14:45 December 24th
As Jon fell to his knees Batman, Superman, Nightwing, Red Robin and Red Hood entered the Lazarus room.

"Talia, what have you done" Batman asked

"I did nothing beloved" she replied

"Then what did Ra's do" Tim questioned

"What was necessary Jason there might fill you in on what's going to happen" Ra's said

"There going to bring him back and alter his memories so they can control him, but they will do it right this time if they act fast enough, I only snapped out of it because when Dick kicked me in the face when I returned I remembered" Jason said

"He's not going in the pit" Bruce said

"Why not" Jon said

"Because people die everyday and though he could come back the pit removes part of your soul or all of it and gives you extra strength for a period of time and imagine an out of control Damian with strength and gadgets we won't stand a chance" Bruce said

"Me and my dad will" Jon said

"Damian carries kryptonite" Tim added

"What why" Clark asked

"In case you or either Superboy ever turn" Dick said

"Talia give him to me" Bruce demanded

"Over my dead body" she replied

Talia lay Damian on the floor, Ra's and Talia took their swords out and 20 assassins jumped down from the shadows and a fight ensued. While no one was watching him Jon snuck over to Damian.

"I will save you" he whispered

Jon picked Damian up and walked into the pit submerging both of them.

"Jonathan" Clark screamed

Everyone stopped and turned towards the pit where the water started bubbling signifying that something was happening and two seconds later Superboy came shooting out of the water hitting the ceiling and falling to the ground.

"Superboy are you okay" Tim asked

"I'm fine, him on the other hand not so much" he said pointing to the pit

At that moment Damian started to appear from the water slowly making his way up, he walked over tho his father looking him up and down.

"Damian do you remember" Bruce asked

"What, your failures" he said upper cutting Bruce

"It worked" Talia said relieved

Damian turned to his mother and picked up a sword and walked towards her and got ready to put it straight through her heart.

"Dami, remember Justice not Vengeance" Jon said standing up

Damian turned to Jon taking kryptonite out of his utility belt, he grabbed Jon's collar and held the kryptonite to his neck. He tried to kill him but something was stopping him and he couldn't remember what, everyone just watched.

"Dami" Jon said

"Who are you, I know your Boy Scouts son but why can't I kill you" he said frustrated

"Jon do the thing that always works in the movies" Dick said earning weird looks from everyone

"Dickie don't tell me you need a room in Arkham" Jason said

"Dami, I think it's time you remember everything" Jon said

"Then help me remember" Damian said dropping him
