Turning my head, I look towards the male with orange streaks painted in his hair.

'Him?!'

TANJIRO POV

'I knew he smelled like a demon! But I didn't notice he actually was one!!'

I stared, my mouth hanging open slightly. I scooted myself towards the Hashira and less towards the intimidating male. The supposed demon's eyes stared at the white rocks on the ground, not even daring to take a glance at the 9 figures staring at him with hatred.

"W-who are these peop-"

Suddenly, my head was smashed down to was ground, I winced as I heard a person speak with fear evident in their voice.

"Don't open your mouth just yet, baka!"
"Just who do you think are standing before you?"
"You're in the presence of the Hashira."
(Commence dramatic music)

'Hashira?'

I stared at the 9 important people in from of me. A sudden feminine voice spoke up.

"This is the Demon Slayer headquarters."
"And you, along with the demon beside you, are about to be put on trial."

My eyes moved towards the handsome demon beside me. He seemed as if he was. . .bored? My eyes then swiftly darted back when a soft voice spoke

"Before we start the trial, would you two like to explain the crime you've commit-"

Suddenly, a booming voice cheered, again, the Flame Hashira spoke up.

"There will be no need for a trial!!"

"The code has been violated several times now!"
"We're within out rights to deal with them on our own!"

"We're going to behead him along with both demons!"

The butterfly-like Hashira spoke in a soft tone. Though, I couldn't help but look around, ignoring, and tuning out the hashira's sweet voice.

'Nezuko?'
'Zenitsu?'
'Inosuke?'
'Murata?'
Nezuko, where are you? NEZUKO!?'

I whipped my head back around staring at the beautiful lady.

"What these boys have done is against Demon Slayer corps. rules."
"You do know that..right?"

I glanced at the demon beside me, his head hanging down, he nodded.

"Kamado Tanjiro-kun..."
"Why are you traveling with a demon, even though you, yourself are a demon slayer?"

I stared at her, she turned towards the latter beside me.

"I never did get your name, tell me. . . Why have you, a demon, joined the corps.?"

I was about to answer since the boy beside me didn't seem to be in the mood. I opened my mouth to speak but was shut up instantly when a dangle of chains caught my attention.

"There's no need to ask."

The Sound Pillar spoke, arms raised in a way that he could easily access his duel blades. The insect breather spoke again.

"You can take your time."
"Just tell us why."

I inhaled, ready to finally answer the direct question.
