Confused (Gaara x |M| Reader)

Also, modern AU this time guys. I used to alot of those, and then I just stopped. So I'm gonna do that one today. Anyways, let's get on with this chapter-》

{Third POV}

Gaara looked at the movie , the people , they were doing something . Something that Gaara didn't quite grab the concept of .

" (M/N) . What are they doing ? "

He asked , the redhead sat up a bit , adjusting his posture on the couch .

" They're kissing , don't you know what that is ? "

Gaara still had his face. Stoic and stiff , and that usually didn't change . If it does , it's a sight to see in (M/N)'s views . He looked good with an expression on his face .

" Yes . I know what that is , it's a form of affection . But why are they doing it though ? Didn't they hate eachother earlier ? " 

He was right , it was one of those teen dramas where it's enemies to lovers . His sister , Temari  , is decently fond of these movies .

" I guess you say character development , I don't really know . "

(S/C) shoulders shrugged , and continued watching the movie . A comfortable silence surrounded them , before the teen spoke up .

" Can we recreate what they're doing in the movie ? I've never done that before . "

(M/N) whipped his head around to meet Gaara's gaze , (H/C) haired followed with the movement . Completely confused , but that didn't faze the redhead .

" Why ? People who are dating do that , we're not dating , why do you want to do that ? "

This time , it was Gaara's turn to shrug his shoulders . (M/N) does that alot , perhaps with all the time they spent together , he rubbed off on Gaara .

" It looks warm . And I'm cold , I could use that warmth . "

Ah , warmth . So that's why he wants it . It wouldn't be too out of the ordinary for him .

" I guess that's a reasonable answer . Come on , let's do it . "  

Gaara inched closer and closer to where (M/N) was sitting , until he reached his side . (E/C)'s shut and shared a short , tender kiss . If he was being honest , he would've thought to meet rough lips , but no . That peck was rather . . Nice , it was nice .

"  So it was warm , as I expected . Thank you , (M/N) . "

He gave a nod at the redhead , and continued watching the movie .

After the evening turned to night , and after the movie was done , Gaara sat up from the couch .

" Thank you (M/N) , for letting me come over , and for that experience . Goodbye , and hopefully see you soon . "

The redhead left soon after , but he couldn't shake the warmth that (M/N) provided .

" It was lovely , in all honesty . Maybe , I can get to do that again . Hopefully sometime soon . "  He thought to himself , Gaara was rather sure that the (H/C) teen thought so too .
